.:The Sig Contest V.6:. [FINALE JUDGED-WINNER POSTED!]

.:Welcome to the Sig Contest :.

If you enjoy making works of art known as 'sigs'
Then this is your contest to enter!
How it works:
Anyone can join this contest as long as they provide an entry for the first round. Each week there will be a new theme to construct a sig from. After each round(one round per week), one contestant will be eliminated and will not be allowed to continue the game.

Disqualifications:
Remember, the sigs you create and choose to publish in this contest must be "school appropriate" in the fact that they do not contain profanity, nudity, or discrimination. Keep it G-rated or you will be disqualified from this contest. Also, all the work submitted must be YOUR OWN and not someone else's. If you have any questions regarding these policies please send me a message.

Size Limit:
The max limit for each round will be 500 pixels in length by 200 pixels in height unless specified in the round's theme.

Prize:
First place in the Sig Contest V.6 will receive 500 XP!
(after a contestant is eliminated their name will appear gray)

Nine contestants have fallen on the wayside of this epic sig battle, and the cream of the crop: rseah, Coxy224, and BassDeluxe: remain fighting for a spot in the final two. If some of you remember Sig Contest V5, the ever-so-clever Rhyfelwr had a challenge where your sig had to be made from everything your own. No pictures you found on the internet etc. Your round 6 theme is just this. You can incorporate your own photography, drawing, etc. I encourage you to let your creative juices flow and make one spectacular sig. Good luck!


:.:Round FIVE:.:
Congratulations on making it to the final four. We started with twelve.. Eight have been eliminated. You four now have to make a sig that represents who you are as a person. Incorporate your likes in this sig, and of course, your name (or name here on LBPC). I am expecting to be blown away since you four are the top of the pack. Good luck, have fun, and most importanty: Don't Get Eliminated!

.:.Round FOUR.:.
Round four will NOT have a picking order. However, there are five of you left and you are going to have to post which one you want. First come first serve! This round will be kind of a challenge I presume, but you guys can do it. The theme for Round four is Countries. You are going to have to make a sig on a country's culture. You should make a sig that represents this part of the world with colors, patterns, textures, possibly a country's flag, etc. Good luck contestants!

Round three will have a picking order again, but instead of colors this round will be dedicated to none other than.. VIDEO GAMES! Below is a list of 8 video games that have defined their genre of gaming. Make a sig that is a good representation of the game you choose. It is REQUIRED to have a logo of the game somewhere in the sig. I will be looking to see how well you represent these legendary games in your sigs. Good luck contestants!

For Round Two you will have to make a sig based around a color. Take your color and make it your inspiration. Find objects that are that color and maybe incorporate them in your sig! Use different shades of your color to make your sig interesting and not flat and dull! Good luck and have fun! My expectations are high!

Round ONE:

Since Autumn is about to come about, why not kick things off with a seasonal theme. For round one you must make a sig around the holiday, Halloween. Make sure you incorporate Hallow's Eve colors: orange and black. The eerier the sig, the more points you will probably be awarded!

No unfortunately with Rhy gone, I have to run the exchange and have no time for my own sigs, must work for others! Lol, unless someone requests a sig under your theme each week I couldn't keep up.

Which is also pretty lame about last contest, I didn't know we were so close to the end or I would have started to make my sigs animated, which was my secret weapon I was waiting to use to sneak in a victory... lol.		2009-09-17 00:11:00

yeh, it seems like that's the problem. Don't upload .xcf files, they're only meant for Gimp. Save them as .jpg or .png if you want transparancy >_<

@ yarbone, the time in north america is 7 hours taken away from the time that it is in greenwich meantime (universal time) , So it is about 11? so that means you have about 12 hours give or take a few half hours2009-09-23 18:03:00

Best sig ever! Wasn't expecting that, but I'm glad you liked it so much. I just want to point out that it is not Sora, but Anti-Sora, and that I haven't used brushwork in any of my sigs so far except for a very little in this one.

CnP, that's not how it works. "The Sig Contest v.x" is different from "Sig of the Fortnight". In The Sig Contest, during the first round, anyone who wants to can enter. Of those, the worst is eliminated. From then on, no new members can enter, so it narrows it down week by week (currently it's coxy, bass, me, and, erm, I can't be bothered to check the rest). So you'll have to wait at least two more weeks before you can enter again. Alternatively, check out the Sig of the Fortnight contest.2009-10-27 11:47:00
