I noticed a timer while a Sackboy was swimming (0:48). Maybe drowning is going to be a new way for sackpeople to die | 2009-08-18 16:18:00 Author: Frinklebumper Posts: 941 |
That video was hilarious And... OMGZZZZZZ WATER!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! 0iz I'm happy I wonder if we'll be able to tweak the settings on the timer. | 2009-08-18 16:22:00 Author: hilightnotes Posts: 1230 |

0:38 The water's in background... part of kit functionality, new background, or use of new "3D" functionality? And killzonequinn, this is in important news because this was automatically streamed from MM site. We always... ah I see. | 2009-08-18 16:26:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |

AWESOME!!!!! Looks like you set the level of water for the whole level, which is why it extends into the background... I wonder if there'll be any way to have flowing water and stuff? | 2009-08-18 16:32:00 Author: Nuclearfish Posts: 927 |
SO GREAT! Really really cool! Maybe part of a beach pack with that famous beach/dock background... | 2009-08-18 16:32:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
SO COOL!!! Alot of people have asked for water and I never thought it would make it into the game but there it is. This will help out so much. There have been countless levels with water segments but it's impossible to create decent water effects with what we currently have. I love the "Feel like something was missing?" part too. Water did feel like it was missing from the game. | 2009-08-18 16:32:00 Author: keell Posts: 69 |
Yummy, water! This will be quite excellent indeed. Of course, this raises a few questions on a personal level; Can we modify how things float? Can we color the water? Do we get that neat song that was featured in the video? | 2009-08-18 16:33:00 Author: SLS10 Posts: 1129 |
OK from what I can tell, you will have a power up that will allow you to swim for unlimited time and without it you will have a certain amount of seconds underwater. http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=509&pictureid=5821 | 2009-08-18 16:33:00 Author: wexfordian Posts: 1904 |

ok from what i can tell, you will have a power up that will allow you to swim for unlimited time and without it you will have a certain amount of seconds underwater. that is what i said yayayayayayay! right, so from what i can tell, there is a time limit on the air supply unless use use that scuba thing, which looks like a new power up. :d | 2009-08-18 16:35:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |

Check out the video - there's caustic lighting! The pretty bands that move and shimmer from the waves on the surface. I wonder if that's the water interacting with the existing lights or if there's a new lighting option in the kit too. | 2009-08-18 16:39:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |

LOL, MM tweeted that their site is down because of all the traffic. meyep <_< | 2009-08-18 16:44:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
the "infinite" water background appears to be a background proper because if you look at the water on the mgs background it's only 3 layers deep. And the "infinite" one has a reflective shadow of sackboy jumping so I think that's a normal background you can interact light with (like the crystals in the monster pack one) | 2009-08-18 16:44:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |

The point bubbles do appear to float - good catch Wex. Doesn't it look like the ambient bubbles (not point) in the water are based on the confetti from the scoreboard? | 2009-08-18 16:48:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |

Mmk, so it's assumed that this pack will be awesome. But, what else is featured besides water (which is already a great announcement)? | 2009-08-18 16:51:00 Author: SLS10 Posts: 1129 |

It says "Level Kit" not level pack. So tools to build levels yes - that's apparent. A Set of levels to play - highly unlikely - perhaps one to get the stuff like Monster or History. | 2009-08-18 16:54:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
Sorry, read it wrong. Though it said pack. But still, pack, kit... not really much difference. They way they're talking, it's the next big gamplay thing like the Paintinator, so I'd be very surprised if there weren't some water-based levels. | 2009-08-18 16:54:00 Author: Nuclearfish Posts: 927 |

Does anyone can say if it's just water or liquids? Since I wonder if water can be moved from point A to point B, not for waterfalls...but to run mills and water wheels puzzles. | 2009-08-18 16:56:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |

AWESOME!!!!! Looks like you set the level of water for the whole level, which is why it extends into the background... I wonder if there'll be any way to have flowing water and stuff? I doubt it. It would be an enormous strain on the system to render flowing water with all the physics involved. Like you said it looks like the water fills the whole level. There will probably be a switch that raises and lowers the water level, similar to the "Wet Dry World" from Mario 64, but that is more than likely the only adjustment that can be made to it. | 2009-08-18 16:56:00 Author: keell Posts: 69 |
Does anyone can say if it's just water or liquids? Since I wonder if water can be moved from point A to point B, not for waterfalls...but to run mills and water wheels puzzles. I had a thought about that. In the trailer, there's some sort of tube-thing near the top of the water that a Sackboy turns on with a lever (which is also underwater, and thus, cool). Could this tubey thing be a pump? | 2009-08-18 16:57:00 Author: SLS10 Posts: 1129 |

*sings* Oh, best thing ever, best thing ever, definetly best thing ever! ?10 says that Point/Prize Bubbles restore Air. Silly European, with your fancy currency! ...although you do have a point. And the thing I was talking about appears in the video around 0:44. On closer inspection, it just looks like some sort of buoy. I'm getting so many ideas ALREADY! Oh my goodness! | 2009-08-18 17:05:00 Author: SLS10 Posts: 1129 |
Just think how good boats are going to be now.... Speaking of which, there's a speed boat of sorts in the video. Do you think that's powered using a rocket, or if there's a special new propeller object? | 2009-08-18 17:08:00 Author: Nuclearfish Posts: 927 |
OH SHI-! Water! Best. Announcement. Ever! This is probably proof that MM really does listen to us! (That or it just took them that long to code it in... But I like the first one) Total win. | 2009-08-18 17:09:00 Author: dandygandy2704 Posts: 1002 |

There will probably be a switch that raises and lowers the water level, similar to the "Wet Dry World" from Mario 64, but that is more than likely the only adjustment that can be made to it. This Switch would probably work something like the Environmental Switch, and the Lever in the Video was just something Switching between two of those. | 2009-08-18 17:11:00 Author: neonrage0 Posts: 284 |
New propeller object... If only they will put out zero gravity controls to run upside down on roofs this game will assurge to best platform ever. Then we should need more backgrounds and musics (musics will come for sure) and pre-made logic switches and we won't ask anything more. | 2009-08-18 17:12:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |

This is probably proof that MM really does listen to us! (That or it just took them that long to code it in... But I like the first one) I think this is proof that the things that MM want in the game will get in. They always wanted water, it just never made the release. I doubt this has that much to do with community pressure TBH. | 2009-08-18 17:15:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |

Meaning there will be tools and such in it likely. Maybe very small levels like they had for the Creator Pack or whatever it was called, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for new levels if I were you... | 2009-08-18 17:19:00 Author: dandygandy2704 Posts: 1002 |

Yeah it's clear it's not "liquids" but a "water level" feature. I'm actually losing my boner to the fact we probably won't zone the water since it goes all the way back in the far background in the video. There will probably be a switch to change the level of water as we go but it still pretty much limit our creativity to "underwater level, semi underwater level or not water level". ... this is a bit deceiving. . | 2009-08-18 17:20:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |

Im not exited.. it was good at first but now im bored, The only thing i can say.. Need options if you can die in it, if it flows or what now. Oh and if stuff if like sponge can float on it, and diffrent properys for diffrent materials. | 2009-08-18 17:21:00 Author: Adam9001 Posts: 744 |
Ummmm, do you mean celebrate? I don't think we need to commemorate this TBH. | 2009-08-18 17:21:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |

Oh and if stuff if like sponge can float on it, and diffrent properys for diffrent materials. I find that rather obvious. I mean, MM isn't THAT retarded that they would give stone the property to float on water and cardboard to sink to the bottom... | 2009-08-18 17:26:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |

Yeah... but still, its better than no water at all. And if you design your level around the fact that water will always be at the same height for the whole thing, you'd still be able to make some great levels. I wouldn't be suprised if there were some water jet items and stuff, which works just like an emitter but with water. It wouldn't add to the volume of water in the level, but it could push scakboy and objects etc... | 2009-08-18 17:26:00 Author: Nuclearfish Posts: 927 |
Setting the hazard strength of waters would be good cuz you could set that you could only breath for 0 seconds so if you touch it you're dead. It would make hazards more interesting. | 2009-08-18 17:26:00 Author: Unknown User |

I'm just hoping there's something you could do about this water. I mean say you wanted to make a little pool with real water. but shortly before or after it you are going downwards, that would mean that area would be under water. Now you could maybe have a sensor to quickly raise or lower the water, but its gonna look awfully weird cause of the background | 2009-08-18 17:29:00 Author: JKthree Posts: 1125 |
While this is no doubt excellent news, is anyone else feeling a little sad that we've no longer the challenge of making water? I think that challenge has always been half the fun for me, I had the same sad feeling when the lighting tool came along. There's nothing more satisfying than creating a great affect with the most random of items. The day we have a tool for everything, will likely be the day I stop playing. | 2009-08-18 17:29:00 Author: Kiminski Posts: 545 |

There will always be artists and craftsmen in LBP that can do without the fancy tools to get the same result (or at least some of them) but these new tools just make the process faster for the rest of us. I understand the joy of the challenge but I appreciate the convenience of the tools too. | 2009-08-18 17:34:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |

There's nothing more satisfying than creating a great affect with the most random of items. The day we have a tool for everything, will likely be the day I stop playing. I know what you mean, its a similar thing to when the invisible pistons and GLT came in , in removing some of the hurdles you also remove some of the solutions. However, I'm in the camp that thinks LBP absolutely needs a new tool like this every now and again to mix things up and keep it fresh for players and creators alike...we'll hopefully see water used in all manner of ways to make levels that simply aren't currently possible, its not just an aesthetic shortcut. Man this must me the greatest thing ever! i hope you can spray with this water too! You can already stop your expectations right there. It's only a water level that you set. And then you can change it with a tool. It's not liquids, not zonable, spray-able, leakable. . | 2009-08-18 17:56:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |

This dissappoints me. This is probably going to totally disagree with others, but just hear me out. I don't think adding water to littlebigplanet is a good idea. At all. Littlebigplanet is about being creative, making ideas. People made water levels all the time. Sure, it was harder, but thats the best part. Making LBP levels shouldnt be easy, it takes hard work, effort, and creativity! Now people will be able to make water levels with a press of a button. And that makes me angry. LBP is about being creative, make up your own ideas for water. Now everyone is going to use the exact same thing. Shame MM, shame... | 2009-08-18 18:30:00 Author: Unknown User |
I'm already having ideas for this... how about a boat that uses a propeller/impeller to move? Or how about making a truck that drives into water and converts to a boat? You could also make a temporary bridge of ice or flotsam for Sackboy to walk across! Has anyone else started brainstorming yet? | 2009-08-18 18:31:00 Author: Unknown User |

Ill have to make my level now and add the water the second this pack comes out, then publish it immediately. Cool levels page, 50,000+ plays, and 20,000+ hearts HERE I COME! Well maybe not that extreme, but seeing as the LBP communtity is over 85% snotty little brats who cant sit still for 2 seconds, a quick water level published will get a ton of plays and hearts | 2009-08-18 18:43:00 Author: King_Tubb Posts: 435 |

Here, have the full IGN blog of the conference to read. You don't want it? Tough. [09:24] People are still milling about the entrace to the auditorium, as Sony still hasn't opened the doors. Doesn't look like this is going to start on time. [09:34] Alright folks, I was finally admitted into the sacred halls of the Sony press conference. There's a massive screen blazing with light in front of me (go figure) and a huge sign in front of the stage says "The game is just the start." I suspect this implies that Sony is entering the space travel industry. Also, there's a fairly attractive blonde woman behind me, so hopefully she can't read in English. Also, of particular interest, is the intense German techno that's blaring on the speakers. I've already started an uber dance party. [09:35] As a side note, this conference was supposed to start five minutes ago. But Sony likes to run stylishly late and punch people in the stomach on the way in. [09:36] Oh wait, it's going to be starting soon. A charming British chap is giving us instructions about where proper filming should take place. Fran has already secured a fine spot in the balcony for filming. His chair levitates and pulses with light... I'm putting too many jokes in this blog already. I'll stop. [09:44] Okay, more updates. Conference should be starting very soon. The charming British announcer came back on and told all the people with blue and pink wristbands to proceed to the auditorium. (I have a blue one.). Then, he told everyone with an orange wristband to stay the ******* out. He didn't put it that bluntly, but the intent was there. Also, the aforementioned fairly attractive blonde woman can speak English. So this live blog has been officially compromised. [09:46] The intense German techno/future jazz ceased for a moment. The audience held its breath in anticipation, but then it came on again. Oh well. I gave Video Producer Ty Root a granola bar because he's super hungry. I've saved the day again. [09:47] Here we go, it's starting! [09:48] There's an intense trailer about to start, I can feel it. [09:48] Invisimals is the first game shown, then some LittleBigPlanet love is displayed on screen. Oh hell yeah, God of War III action. Some SOCOM PSP. PixelJunk Shooter. [09:49] Lots of stuff. Intense music continues. Oh god it's Home! And the next Ratchet. Now Heavy Rain. The dude sitting behind me is saying all this to the woman behind me. It's kinda annoying. [09:49] Oh hell yeah Greg Miller, SingStar is being shown. Man this music makes me want to dance. Oh, VidZone is shown. Could there be another media announcment? [09:50] Hustle Kings also popped up for a moment, along with MAG. And Gran Turismo for the win. Now Some sweet slow-motion Uncharted 2 footage. [09:50] Whew. I'm out of breath. President and CEO of SCEE, Andrew House takes the change. He welcomes us. [09:51] House discusses his history with the company, and what his tenure has seen when it comes to the PlayStation brand. [09:52] The first PlayStation "revolutionized the way games were created." I would agree, I suppose, but no one cares what I think. Unless you do? [09:52] House is proud of what Sony has achieved. Tonight, House wants to take us through the Sony business strategy and show us the future of PlayStation. [09:53] Now, let's look at some boring business facts. Sales worldwide almost reaching 140 million units for the PlayStation 2. [09:54] House reiterates that PSPgo will be hitting this October. Though he reminds us that global sales for the PSP have passed 50 million units. Go PSP! [09:54] Global sales of the PS3 have reached 23.7 million units. Cool beans. [09:55] Ah, the PlayStation Network is being discussed. It gives us "infinity possibilties." How much money do you need to put in your PSN wallet to buy infinite possibilities? I imagine quite a bit. [09:55] Worldwide PSN registrants reach the 27 million mark. That's a lot of gamers online. [09:57] Global downloads: 560 million. Nice. These people behind me keep chattering away. You're lucky you're sitting at home, at your computers. Oh, more facts: $280 million in revenue, for the PSN. That's pretty sweet. [09:57] Now PlayStation Home is being discussed. House, just for the record, is a very good public speaker. I'm very impressed. [09:58] Home downloads have hit 7.5 million, globally. That means millions of gamers around the world are dancing wildly and spamming happy faces like you wouldn't believe. [09:58] Wait, new gamespace being added! SingStar space announced. [09:59] Greg Miller just wet himself. I can feel it all the way from Germany. [09:59] There's a music quiz in the space, as well as a video jukebox. And oh. My. God. An interactive dance floor. [10:00] Audi is bringing its brand into PlayStation Home. There's going to be an Audi cinema somehow, and then a new space that will be coming in the future. [10:01] House has officially announced more dance moves in PlayStation Home. You'll be able to carry a camera with you eventually, and throw a ball, or drink a shrinking potion. This is all new functionality for the system. [10:01] Cool. This service is designed for the teenage dancer. I love it. [10:02] Oh, Dynamic Themes are being shown. These are like themes on ********** crack. Super nice, animated bits, like Sackboy running around the planet. Awesome. Some European news is being announced about some more video content. This does not interest our US audience. Does it? You tell me! [10:03] Oh, finally. House announced PSN voucher cards (like, adding Euros to your account) for the European territories. I still can't find them in the US, though. Oh well. Let's hope for the best. [10:03] Sounds like this is a move to help spur and encourage sales for downloads, as the PSPgo is just around the corner. [10:04] Ah, House is speaking about VidZone. Sweden, Norway and other European territories are getting VidZone... but no US. Aw, we don't get sweet music videos? [10:06] Europe is getting a video download service, as the trailer shows some footage from Terminator Salvation, Batman, Saw, Gran Turino, Transformers and more. Coming November 2009. Looks like the European PSN is trying to catch up to the US service. [10:07] This service is hitting the UK, Germany, France and more. Again, this is just fun news for you European gamers. You US folks already have this sort of functionality, you lucky dogs. [10:07] Digital Reader for the PSP. This December. [10:08] Digital comics, including Marvel. Spider-Man, X-Men and the Fantastic Four. This is in fact, coming to the US PlayStation Network. Nice! [10:08] Ira Rubenstein, from Marvel Entertainment is taking the stage. It's a tall, smiling dude in a nice coat. Hi Ira! [10:09] So, it sounds like users will be able to download comics straight to the PSP with this Digital Reader program. Ira is excited to be offering the Marvel catalog to this new service. [10:10] Ira thanks us and gives the stage back to Andrew House. But first, a trailer. [10:11] A trailer for comic books? I wonder how this will work. Intense music. It's always about intense music. Flying animated profiles are zooming across the screen. I wish all comics were this way. They would cost a lot more. "Hundreds of comics on the PlayStation Store. Downloaded directly to your PSP." [10:12] The interface looks really slick. You can browse frame by frame as the comic flashes across the screen. This is neat news, as a comic fan myself. (Not as much as Greg Miller and Hilary Goldstein, though). [10:13] House is bringing up new stuff. Eye of Judgment and LocoRoco: Midnight Carnival are both going to be on the show floor this week. [10:13] Here we go.... Bitsized games are being brought up. Could this be the possible app store? [10:14] It's called "Minis" on PSP. very interesting. Written like "miniS". [10:15] It will be a new section on the PlayStation Store. Available exclusively via digital distribution. 100 MB size limit. One of the examples on the screen is Aqua Panic Oasis. I need to play that game. This is Sony's answer to Apple's App Store, it seems. House comments that many publishers are already on board. EA has Sudoku. miniS is going to hit the PSP on the same day as PSPgo's launch, this October! Playable on any model of the PSP. [10:16] Here comes a trailer! Lots of cool little casual games, like block clearing games, shooters and a little monkey killing horrifying shadows...? [10:16] Ohhh, gotta' love tower defense. I think I just saw 300, the game, show up in that trailer. It was running really slowly, though. Poor Leonidas. [10:17] Oh, PSP-3000 is going to get tourqoise green, blossom pink and lilac purple. The audience cheers for some reason. The green PSP is bundled with LBP PSP! House mentions that more bundles are on the way. [10:19] Now House is going to highlight Gran Turismo PSP. Oh, there's a very exciting offer coming up... aw, but only for Europe. If you register between the 1st and 10th of October for your PSPgo, you get a free copy of GT PSP. What the hell, the US territory doesn't get that?! THat's a sweet deal! [10:19] EyePet, it has been announced, will sell for 49.99 Euros, and comes bundled with the PlayStation Eye. Nothing about a confirmed US price, though. [10:21] By the way folks, that free GT PSP means you get a free download, not a free UMD copy of the game. Just so you follow. Now they're showing a trailer for Uncharted 2. It's mostly old footage, but it's got some great, really emotional stuff going on, slow-motion fights, Drake grabbing Elena's hand up on a cliff, Chloe stroking Nathan's face. This is a pretty bad-*** trailer. Drake's narration: "What's that saying? Fortune favors the bold? Yeah right." [10:21] Totally badass. [10:22] Here comes some Heavy Rain news! David Cage, from developer Quantic Dream is taking the stage. [10:23] I applauded especially hard, as Cage is a really awesome developer. His first line: "How far would you go to save someone you love?" This is the most intense speech ever for a Sony press conference. [10:23] Heavy Rain will feature four main characters that must answer this question. Here in Cologne, we're being introduced to the two other characters. Shelby, an investigator on the Origami Killer case. [10:25] The final character is based on one of Cage's personal experience. Him and his wife lost his son in a shop... until he was found later. The character, Ethan Marr. Ethan lost his son in a crowd and the boy was killed by a car. Ethan used to be a successful actor, but now he must confront his demons and find redemption. [10:25] "Heavy Rain is a story of guilt, love and redemption." **** straight. [10:25] A new trailer is coming up. Footage is being shown of the new characters. [10:26] The footage shows Ethan losing his son, and having to deal with the pain of the loss. This is extremely depressing. [10:27] Ethan is shown sneaking into a strange mansion, getting caught up in the Origami Killer mishaps. Action scenes dominate the screen, as the trailer culminates with Ethan falling off a rooftop, and his grizzled voice saying "Everything I did, I did for love." [10:27] Everything from the trailer is all real-time, 3D, and fully interactive. And all this intensity was just one of the four unique characters. [10:29] The audience applauds as Cage leaves the stage and House returns to talk about the motion-sensing controller that was debuted at E3. But we have to wait! Until the Tokyo Game Show. We only get a trailer, for games that will use the PlayStation Motion Controler. [10:30] Shows a building block game, an archery simulation, a painting game, a title that features a sorcerer casting spells. It actually looks pretty nice. [10:30] Oh, one game looked like a first person horror game, where you were using a flashlight to move through an eerie environment. That's a pretty good application of the controller's technology. [10:31] Okay, trailer complete. Oh my god, the conference is almost over? They better announce the Slim! [10:31] Yes, Kaz Hirai is taking the stage! This is it folks, it's now or never! [10:32] If they don't announce the PS3 Slim, I'm getting up on stage and showing Kaz my giant enemy crab. [10:32] That was an awful joke, sorry. I totally take it back. Oh man, here it comes.... he's building up to it. [10:33] Kaz is really good at building tension... he's moving on... he made a very subtle joke about "shape and form". [10:33] He points out a podium that no one has used yet. He teases, that it has a purpose. [10:34] Today is that day for PS3 Slim. [10:34] First week of September, PS3 Slim confirmed. [10:34] It looks like a very skinny PS3, same exact design, but much slimmer (obviously). [10:35] Same features and functionality. 120 GB HDD. 34 % less power consumption. 34 percent lighter. Wow, nice. [10:35] 299!!!! [10:35] PS3 is 299 dollars, 299 Euros, and 29,980 Yen. [10:35] This price is also retroactive, tomorrow, for all PS3 models. This is awesome. [10:35] Thank God. [10:36] The audience erupts in applause. I also scream, as Kaz is a dream. [10:37] That's it folks, House is starting to wrapping up the show. Whew. I can still see the PS3 from here. It looks very happy, on its white podium. [10:37] Show complete! I hope you enjoyed our live blog. Oh god, I'm getting trampled. Survival Challenge Idea The water level is rising on your ship. You must alternate activating "Pumps" on each side of the room. No, they didn't. They made water themed levels with glass, pistons and jetpacks. They didn't make water levels. Adding water doesn't make anything easier, it makes it POSSIBLE. Yeah, LBP is about being creative and adding to the gameplay possibilities is exactly that. Now we can find new and creative things to do with this that we couldn't do before no matter how creative we were. Don't worry, your glass water isn't going anywhere. We'll still need to do that for certain things. | 2009-08-18 18:52:00 Author: Reef1978 Posts: 527 |
Well, it's nice to see Media Molecule listens to their fan base. What I want to know is, can this be placed on one layer (so we can have semi-water levels), and what is the purpose of the Snorkel? I assume it's an enhancement to breathe underwater, but I'm not entirely sure. | 2009-08-18 18:55:00 Author: The Cheat Posts: 25 |

Great. When this comes out I will definitely start work on the next installment of my bunny series. I'll go back to the lighthearted nature of it, won't be dependant on the paintinator anymore. | 2009-08-18 18:57:00 Author: Foofles Posts: 2278 |
Well, as Mm said, it's far more exciting than costumes. Now to wait for 2 things: 1. What else will be in this pack? Weather? Melee Weapons? 2. RELEASE DATE!! Why do they always leave us hanging regarding the release date!? I wanna know how long I have to wait until I can plan out an underwater level. | 2009-08-18 18:58:00 Author: persona3fan93 Posts: 155 |

Here an idea! Theres those Red and White missle items on the surace right? How about a new torpedo item! Works the same but might have slightly different properties maybe it moves slower but has a bigger explosion... and if it pops out of the water it deactivates | 2009-08-18 19:00:00 Author: Gondito Posts: 1082 |
From the Sack it to Me comments: So, when will the water be available? Also, lol at the ice creamy cake. Baskin Robins lol. Water might not kill.. You can only breathe for so long, apparently. About halfway through the video there is a counter next to the sack person, which goes away after they reach the surface. The snorkel seems new, too. It could be an enhancement for water breathing. | 2009-08-18 19:01:00 Author: The Cheat Posts: 25 |

2. RELEASE DATE!! Why do they always leave us hanging regarding the release date!? I wanna know how long I have to wait until I can plan out an underwater level. I woul;dn't expect it anytime soon... and also remember they've said that there will be other betas as well as the online create one. I hope there isn't a beta for this, instead I hope it just comes out. People will be upset if there is another beta. I'd rather there's a beta so they can fix any bugs than just releasing it so that everyone experiences the problems. That's the point in a beta - to find bugs so its alright to release, not to give a limited number of people a chance to play it before everyone else. That's just an added bonus. | 2009-08-18 19:09:00 Author: Nuclearfish Posts: 927 |

AWESOME!!!!!!! This is probably the best thing to ever happen to LBP! Looks like it comes with a diver costume, would be cool if you can tweak how much air is in the tank. also i know i read someone saying that the water gear is a power up for swimming....just to let you know most of the sackboys in the video are swimming fine without it...so it could still be a power up...eliminating the breathing counter that is possibly in the game with the water....or it could be pieces for a costume pack or something....hopefully free since this would be a great way to show their loyal fans how much they care | 2009-08-18 21:20:00 Author: Shadowcrazy Posts: 3365 |

From the looks of it, it'll affect the whole level. In other words, the whole level will be submerged at the same water level at all times. This means no water wheels or, really, any physics on the water at all. That's the only way I can imagine it not raping the thermometer. I'm sure the level of water will be changeable with a switch though. | 2009-08-18 21:46:00 Author: BassDeluxe Posts: 984 |
