| Ok social group has been started, you all got invites if you're in artist list... If you want an invite send me some of your work! Ok so no more tutorial type talk here unless it absolutely applies, this will be for requests and sig making only from now on. Speaking of which I am updating the Queue with requests from Rhy and my old threads. EDIT, read this artists: I have randomly assigned sigs in the queue in no particular order, some logic used in certain cases. If you have a problem or want help, or think someone is better suited for a particular sig (even if you think it's YOU) let me know in the new social group and I'll change things around. | I found the 'last words' font, and i ahve done one with a hare, though i wasn't too sure about the picture, it was the ebst hare one i could seem to find though... Rhy Hi Rhy , I would still like to keep my car in there but with a newer photo as it now has side stripes on. As for favourite colours you'll see from my car that Blue and White are pretty high on my list. I'd like to have some sort of V8 reference in there too because I love the sound of a big V8 engine. It doesn't get much better than that. My favourite game of all time is Front Mission 3 closely followed by Final Fantasy 7 I'm sorry if all that seems like a tall order. I've no idea at all how you'd come up with something to mix all that together , never mind actually making it. Of course you don't have to include everything. I then made a glowing effect around it. It just didnt look right so I didnt save it. It was kinda choppy around the text and with a bit of fiddling around it still wasnt getting better so I gave up. I might try something else if no one else is going to do this one, but I might have to pass. EDIT: I figured out whats wrong. It is the wrong font for the sig. It is too squarish. Too late to edit now, but I might try the same style again. Something else would probably look better though so I will try for a little bit tomorrow to see what I can come up with. Is there any kind of technology you like? Like a big plane or a boat? They would be easier to work with on a pop-out sig. | Ok, I have 2 pictures in my album that seems pretty cool. Their both cars, but from different viewpoints. The front view of the car & the back view can both be included. | Hi Zwollie I'm delighted you like it. What I would suggest is that you give rough idea of what you'd like - favourite colour schemes and maybe a subject matter (in addition to your LBP character). We have a good number of artists now in the team, but the best way would be to give a preferred artist.. this way it gets allocated more efficiently and we all know where we stand. That said, us artists are a funny bunch, so you can always put "not really bothered who does it!" This is a sig request worth doing for any of the team and I'm sure we'll give it our all. | @mrsvista I've had a brainwave!!!! http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j120/richergraphics/mrsvistasig2.png I had major problems finding a good sunset without any clutter in the background, so I decided to make one myself!!! (unique for you!) It gave me the opportunity to consider colours more and place the scenery where I wanted it. The cat is more... cat like (I feel). The text I have changed (have I done the right thing here) to look more like mrvistas and blended it in with the sunset colours. | You've put me in a quandary!! The new one is great too but can you sort of combine the two (can you feel a headache coming on?). I like the silhouette shapes better in the new one (as you say, the cat is much better but I liked the colour of the sky better in the original with the stars in the corners and I preferred my name how it was in the original also. | I'd just like to add my thanks to Rhy for doing such an awesome job on Paula's ( mrsvista ) sig. I'm afraid I'm to blame for causing you the extra work and headaches. I had to twist her arm and persuade her to ask for the changes because I could see the first couple weren't exactly how she wanted but she was very reluctant to ask for changes as she didn't want to offend you. You should have seen her face when she saw the final one though. She was as excited as a young kid at christmas. | @mistervista - A lot of people feel awkward about asking for changes - thinking they might upset the artist, and yes, some may react badly, but I get joy from knowing that they are delighted with what they have. I would have been gutted if anyone accepts a sig that they are not totally happy with. If you upload a sig to the forums, it a) renders it as a solid background .jpg and b) may re-size it.
