Just playing around with it now - it is AWESOME. | 2009-04-23 17:08:00 Author: DanC Posts: 433 |
Global lighting tool is as awesome as expected. You can tweak anything you want, even colour correction wich I wasn't expecting. Now lets all prepare for the stormload of awful day/night/psychedelic levels that will be released this weekend. | 2009-04-23 17:13:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |

I've just downloaded it and nothing has appeared new in my popit :O EDIT: Nevermind theres actual levels to play to get the items The global lighting switch is fantastic EDIT 2: Looks like they are using a new background to | 2009-04-23 17:19:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
WOW, there's new levels and not just tutorials? Is the new background available in create mode? . | 2009-04-23 17:26:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |

They are just small levels, showing the new items, but they look smart. No new background in the pop it, just playing with global switch now, ask away if you've any questions EDIT: Theres no videos for the new items, I guess the levels do the job though. EDIT 2: Its not a new background, its the tutorial one, I hav'nt seen it in ages so I just checked, sorry about that | 2009-04-23 17:29:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
AHAHHAAHAHA. the level that shows you the infinite checkpoint is hilarious | 2009-04-23 17:34:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
cool they made levels for each new object more interesting than just finding them in your pop-it even if they are small (they look really cool too instead of just being like the other tutorials) i bet they added at least one feature that they didn't tell us about | 2009-04-23 17:37:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
I honestly find the sackboy upgrade removal tool kinda unnecessary :/ pressing O is alot easier.. | 2009-04-23 17:38:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
I honestly find the sackboy upgrade removal tool kinda unnecessary :/ pressing O is alot easier.. Maybe so... but then you can't FORCE them press O, can you? >_< | 2009-04-23 17:39:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |
The jetpack cancelling tool is really handy, I have a section in this new level where it will be really helpful. The global lighting tool is ace. I set the timer to 20 secs in this new level and watched it get slowly darker, really good | 2009-04-23 17:41:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
i was going to say that can you hook the remover up to a proximity switch to increase the range of it? | 2009-04-23 17:42:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
The jetpack cancelling tool is really handy, I have a section in this new level where it will be really helpful. The global lighting tool is ace. I set the timer to 20 secs in this new level and watched it get slowly darker, really good oh, so that's what the time option is, thanks! | 2009-04-23 17:42:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
I'll test that now dexiro The cancelling tool is like a big red cross floating on the beam of light like the paintinator. There is no tweak menu for the jetpack or cancelling tool. It looks like you have to hit the red cross directly for it to cancel. The jetpack looks well cool with no chain attached though | 2009-04-23 17:43:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
So the power-up remover is that tetherless jetpack we saw earlier in some video or it's something else? Anyways, it's cool to force a removal actually. I hope you can zone this though. . | 2009-04-23 17:44:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |
haha, on the infinite lives level, if you wait by the checkpoint for abotu 10 seconds the level slowly starts to turn crazy on you xD the pillars turn into machine guns and spikes appear everywhere.. it looks awesome! oh and anyone who bothered to fly to the top of the jetpack level would of seen the woman hanging from a cloud (not the most exciting easter egg though) | 2009-04-23 17:44:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
Yeh, I love that one! This new stuff is teh pwn! *experiments* | 2009-04-23 17:45:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Looks like you can't zone the removal tool at all, or make it invisible, you have a hulking great red cross in the level and have to "collect" it to cancel the jetpack I wonder how many dark to night to dark again with a colour tint jetpack mazes we see the next few days | 2009-04-23 17:49:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
wow, the cancelling tool is kind of a disappointment even with the paintinator, you can just jump right over it so we have to change the level to include a tight space that will force the player to hit it instead and like you said we'll have an ugly red cross floating in the middle of our level, just sounds like an easy way to break immersion to me | 2009-04-23 17:50:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
Just thinking that Wexfordian can make his Wizard of Oz level go from black and white to colour. How amazing will that be! | 2009-04-23 17:52:00 Author: Matt 82 Posts: 1096 |
Good thing is, looks like the Global tool takes almost 0 thermo to add in. You can connect it to switches to. | 2009-04-23 17:54:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
yeah i think they got the global tool perfect, does everything i would of wanted it too makes me wonder why they didn't do the same with the cancelling tool | 2009-04-23 17:56:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
Yessssssss! Sounds great! How big is the pack!? I can't wait to get hold of it!!!! *shaky hands-crazy smile* | 2009-04-23 17:57:00 Author: noddle111 Posts: 174 |
This day just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it! oh my gosh, I'm so excited about this! Global lighting tool, here I come! ^_^ (too bad I have 4 hours left of work yet!) | 2009-04-23 17:58:00 Author: xkappax Posts: 2569 |

"You can even fly up here! yippee!" | 2009-04-23 17:59:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
well you can always capture/emit the cancelling tool and make it a lot larger so it can't be dodged as easily but then you'll have an even bigger red x in your level | 2009-04-23 18:00:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
I agree and concur about Global Light. I've just had to start Dragon Rider 2 again because of a 'failed to load level' problem that Yarg didn't fix. Being positive though, I'll hopefully do it better this time, and Global Light will be so cool to play with. Night to day, fading fog, approaching storms... Wonderful! *wanders off slavering and gibbering* | 2009-04-23 18:00:00 Author: MrsSpookyBuz Posts: 1492 |
They should allow you to activate the canceling tool with a sensor switch, or any switch. | 2009-04-23 18:01:00 Author: Killian Posts: 2575 |
Yeah I'm dissapointed in that Killian, theres no tweak menu, and you can't hook any switch to it. Plus the X is down right ugly. | 2009-04-23 18:02:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
This day just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it! oh my gosh, I'm so excited about this! Global lighting tool, here I come! ^_^ (too bad I have 4 hours left of work yet!) I have 5 hours | 2009-04-23 18:03:00 Author: AJnKnox Posts: 518 |
They should allow you to activate the canceling tool with a sensor switch, or any switch. Or make the canceling tool a switch in itself, since a player can avoid the cancel tool, that way they MUST cancel a weapon to open a door/progress the level etc. EDIT: or you could just put a sensor switch behind it with a small radius  | 2009-04-23 18:03:00 Author: noddle111 Posts: 174 |
They should allow you to activate the canceling tool with a sensor switch, or any switch. They should indeed, the fact that you actually have to touch it up close is a big con for me. | 2009-04-23 18:03:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
well by putting a cancel tool directly over the jetpack i was able to make a jump pad! guess it has some uses | 2009-04-23 18:04:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
well by putting a cancel tool directly over the jetpack i was able to make a jump pad! guess it has some uses Ha, that I gotta try!! Global lighting tool is a bit overwhelming actually!! So many uses!! so easy to abuse... | 2009-04-23 18:04:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
well by putting a cancel tool directly over the jetpack i was able to make a jump pad! guess it has some uses Haha! nice one! | 2009-04-23 18:05:00 Author: noddle111 Posts: 174 |
it doesn't work if you jump directly above it, but if you run into it or jump into it sideways you go flying ^^ | 2009-04-23 18:06:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
Another thing that annoyed me was that the speed setting for switches doesn't work well with the lighting tool. It doesn't fade back out to the previous settings when the magnetic key moves further away. | 2009-04-23 18:06:00 Author: Killian Posts: 2575 |
LOL the removal tool is the very definition of useless! Just having a zone + invisible option and it would have been perfect. Oh and of course guys the global lighting wouldn't take more thermo than any other switch. It makes sense, it's just changing some variables, there's no real impact on memory. . | 2009-04-23 18:06:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |
Ive just added two global lighting switches to a level that is exactly half full thermo wise, and the thermo did not move a millimeter. That was from light to dark, then to light again with a complete colour correction change and total fog. EDIT Just saw your post ranger lol, we must have posted at the same time | 2009-04-23 18:06:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
Well, it is the hottest thread in town!! | 2009-04-23 18:08:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
pile up a canceller, jetpack and then another canceller ontop of each other and the jump pad works tons better! still possible to get the jetpack though, it's just a bit harder i reckon if i made the jetpack slightly smaller by emitting it, i'd have a perfect jump pad | 2009-04-23 18:09:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
I'm playing around with jetpack cancelling "powerup", thats the only way to describe it really, its easy enough funnelling a player into, it just looks UGLY | 2009-04-23 18:10:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
I'm playing around with jetpack cancelling "powerup", thats the only way to describe it really, its easy enough funnelling a player into, it just looks UGLY YES, I was at least hoping for a invisible setting | 2009-04-23 18:11:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
YES, I was at least hoping for a invisible setting lol, little kids would freak out if they suddenly saw their jetpack dissapear | 2009-04-23 18:11:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
Another thing that annoyed me was that the speed setting for switches doesn't work well with the lighting tool. It doesn't fade back out to the previous settings when the magnetic key moves further away. Oh you're not serious... lol, little kids would freak out if they suddenly saw their jetpack dissapear Lol. Well, who cares about them? ....seriously? | 2009-04-23 18:13:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
You can emit a small version of the jump pad that you can easily hide with a thin layer!! EDIT: Glue them together before capturing and it seems impossible to pick the jetpack up so far | 2009-04-23 18:13:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
aw, making the jetpack smaller doesn't seem to make it impossible to get the jetpack, gonna keep experimenting until i perfect this ^^ | 2009-04-23 18:16:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
Now that's fast thinking, Grantos!! The cancellation tool has found its alternate use pretty fast!! | 2009-04-23 18:17:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
awesome, thanks man. | 2009-04-23 18:17:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
Now that's fast thinking, Grantos!! The cancellation tool has found its alternate use pretty fast!! hey wasn't it my idea? shrinking the jump pad doesn't seem to work for me, it just makes me get the jet pack every time | 2009-04-23 18:22:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
A shrunken jetpack cancelling "powerup" will detect the up to one large grid high (if you get my meaning). Its pretty useless | 2009-04-23 18:22:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
I really loved how quickly it downloaded too Best thing was the Global Lighting tool for me but the level was good for the limitless checkpoint | 2009-04-23 18:23:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |
Yeah it was Dexiro how came up with at first, his idea I have glued the three together, captured, emitted and shrank and hav'nt gotten the jetpack yet. | 2009-04-23 18:24:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
Another thing that annoyed me was that the speed setting for switches doesn't work well with the lighting tool. It doesn't fade back out to the previous settings when the magnetic key moves further away. Check out my GLT Guide to learn how to get things to change back or change slowly I've been quick to get my guide for it up so it's slightly lacking, but a few more than the basics are covered | 2009-04-23 18:25:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |
weird, my shrunken version only ever gives me the jetpack am i doing it wrong, i have a cancel, jetpack, and another cancel, with all 3 shrunk are you only using one canceller or leaving anything bigger/smaller? | 2009-04-23 18:26:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
Nope, cancel, jetpack, cancel, fitted them all together with small grid, glued them all together, emitted them the smallest I could, the only time I seem to get the jetpack is when I fall directly on top of the jump-pad | 2009-04-23 18:28:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
hey wasn't it my idea? shrinking the jump pad doesn't seem to work for me, it just makes me get the jet pack every time I know Dex, I was talking about the shrinking and hiding it behind the layer part. Sorry if it seemed confusing, this thread is moving really fast after all. **** fingers can't keep up.... | 2009-04-23 18:28:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
Thats fairly useless to Zwollie, the ceiling has to be very low for it to detect. Ahhh, what about one on the roof, one on the floor | 2009-04-23 18:29:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
that's exactly what i did :S and i just like credit for the jump pad itself (i'm new here, i like being responsible for a new idea ) | 2009-04-23 18:31:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
thanks for sharing the jump pad dex | 2009-04-23 18:35:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
Indeed. Well done, Dex!! Btw, I want to see a raise of hands on everyone who intends to use the global lighting tool for his next level. | 2009-04-23 18:36:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
I've already put it in my current project. It looks great! | 2009-04-23 18:39:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
I'm stuck at work for another 6 hours - oh the agony!!!!! Anyone got a breakdown of what's in the pack yet for those of us not lucky enough to be able to play with it yet? | 2009-04-23 18:40:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
Yeah, I don't yet know if I will use it in my current level. Then again, some fog here and there would be nice.... | 2009-04-23 18:40:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
When I get home it's going in part 3 for sure...I have been waiting for it! | 2009-04-23 18:41:00 Author: AJnKnox Posts: 518 |
*raises hand* i think it's a brilliant tool, i can already think of tons of uses fog clearing, dark caves, night/day you could have an enemy that makes sackboy go blind temporarily | 2009-04-23 18:42:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
I'll probably implement it in some way. Most likely upon entering a cave of some sort. | 2009-04-23 18:42:00 Author: Nukemgreen Posts: 71 |
You can do it the way I orginally said, I've built a hollowed out rectangle with shelves in, on each one I put a cancelling "powerup", covered the front, and it cancels the jetpack without you ever seeing the ugly thing I suppose you could build this as high as you needed. EDIT: The minute you cover it with the thin layer it fails to work. | 2009-04-23 18:43:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
I'm stuck at work for another 6 hours - oh the agony!!!!! Anyone got a breakdown of what's in the pack yet for those of us not lucky enough to be able to play with it yet? Well some of it was already included in Cornish Yarg but here's a quick breakdown: * Infinite lives checkpoint * Visibility tweak option on certain joint objects CY * Global settings object: you can change everything except the background theme. * Tetherless jetpack * Cancellation tool for Jetpack & Paintinator * Angle range proximity switch (additional functionality on proximity and magnetic key switches) CY | 2009-04-23 18:43:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
you could have an enemy that makes sackboy go blind temporarily Dang it Dex...I haven't even gotten home and your gonna have cornered the market on cool new ideas! | 2009-04-23 18:45:00 Author: AJnKnox Posts: 518 |

Neat idea, or maybe used in an "undercover" level where you have to use this thing like in man in black *flash* wait, from what? Ha, Lol!! There really are a million and one uses for the global lighting tool. From a plain looking level to the high contrast scenery of a level like Sackhouette in a matter of seconds. ps: nice new avatar Oldage. | 2009-04-23 18:58:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
Yea! I always wanted that.... now what to do with it? No I made a mistake Morgana, I thought the levels used a new background, they did'nt it was the tutoial one, and its not included Sorry again | 2009-04-23 18:59:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
here's a cool idea a black and white level that gives you tasks to complete to add colour to different sections there'd be a lot of switching between bw and colour as you move between sections, but i'm sure it's possible | 2009-04-23 19:00:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
Lol, great idea Dexiro. I've had the TV taken by the wife for the soaps, no more experimenting for me for a while | 2009-04-23 19:01:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |

It's the reason I waited till today, glad the switch works like I thought it would. I just published a level with me testing them out, I kinda recreated the background from the tut levels (the fog color) :kz: | 2009-04-23 19:18:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
I've got big plans for both the global and the tetherless jetpack/remover tools. The current stage I'm working on includes a hyperspace type scene that I've been planning to use global color corrections for. I've also been planning to switch my pod flying minigame over to tetherless. In addition, I've used a glitch to remove the tethered jetpack previously (crush the jetpack, which can't be glued to anything) but it had a bug. If the player was holding x at the time the jet noise continued throughout the rest of the level. | 2009-04-23 19:21:00 Author: dcf Posts: 468 |

Try sinking the base into the floor, that might be killing you no the cross itself?? no but i've just found something that could be useful for some reason when i walk by the cross normally it doesn't kill me, but if i jump onto it i get killed no-jump floor? - the flaming cross is a pretty cool indicator that you can't jump there too | 2009-04-23 19:56:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |

If you look you can see, but only if you know its there I would have thought. Put down the tool with small grid on. Put a piece of material one wide and one square off the floor so its over the black base, turn grid off and draw downward toward the base, leave just enough gap so you can see the base poking through and cover the front with a thin plane, when sackboy hits the base, it cancels but the player can't see anything other than a tiny piece of black | 2009-04-23 20:26:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |

What I want is another pack like the MGS pack. I loved those levels, and the paintinator, and the new music. Gotta get this when I get home if it really is out. Maybe I can actually work on my level instead of just trying to unlock everything and ace every level. -.- | 2009-04-23 20:41:00 Author: Echonian Posts: 279 |
OK, I've found a MUCH easier way, that completely hides the powerups. Put the powerup down using small grid. You see the black base? Stick a piece of material (with small grid still on) over the slope to cover it, make it tall enough to cover the power up, do this both sides and cover the front with a thin plane! Works for me everytime | 2009-04-23 20:43:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |

The original way works everytime for me. I just tried you way Killian, it does'nt seem to be working as of yet, I will play around. Have a look at these pics, ignore the right side, that went wrong. On the left, you can see how the strip of material is positioned. All of this was done with small grid ON. http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/IMG_0128.jpg You need the black section to be sticking out, like so http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/IMG_0129-1.jpg This works 100% of the time for me, and keeps it hidden. Hmm, I might have found a glitch already with the lighting tool. Lets see if it works again and I'll post it EDIT: No it was me not paying attention properly lol | 2009-04-23 21:40:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |

you mean like a level with the tools killian, or find new things to do with them? | 2009-04-23 21:43:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
New things to do | 2009-04-23 21:44:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
you mean like a level with the tools killian, or find new things to do with them? Like trying to figure out how to make the cancellation tool invisible. | 2009-04-23 21:44:00 Author: Killian Posts: 2575 |
ooh, I'm in. I'm trying to find something now. | 2009-04-23 21:45:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
Has anyone tried activating two lighting settings at once with a single switch? In other words, a proximity switch attached to two lighting switches. | 2009-04-23 21:46:00 Author: Killian Posts: 2575 |
LBP really needs private channels like a separate page that only invited members can go into (for example only available to LBPC members), so we could all just publish our experiments in one page and play them all easily without any interferance or idea stealage | 2009-04-23 21:46:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
lol killian trying that now. | 2009-04-23 21:47:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
You mean activate both global lighting at once Killian? Good plan, I'm prepared for a PS3 crash | 2009-04-23 21:47:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
nothing, it just activates only one | 2009-04-23 21:48:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
... but we're supposed to get video game stuff before you guys do. ....... this sucks. when will the U.S. get it? | 2009-04-23 21:48:00 Author: superBlast Posts: 267 |
Try setting up two relays, attached to two different GBL switches, activated by one switch??? | 2009-04-23 21:49:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
... but we're supposed to get video game stuff before you guys do. ....... this sucks. when will the U.S. get it? Probably an hour or two. Next time I go on I'm going to put all my efforts into making the tutorial music/background available. It's driving me insane. | 2009-04-23 21:50:00 Author: Killian Posts: 2575 |
Have you got ideas for that like Killian? | 2009-04-23 21:51:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
1:51 PST: It's still not available. >:C | 2009-04-23 21:51:00 Author: Nukemgreen Posts: 71 |
No reason why we shouldn't have the tutorial stuff. Wouldn`t have thought it`d be hard to do. | 2009-04-23 21:52:00 Author: Matt 82 Posts: 1096 |
OMG OMG OMG. This work day will be LONG... . I hear ya! Then I have a DEP Commanders call after work. Go********. | 2009-04-23 21:52:00 Author: Robbie Posts: 41 |
i spent about 30 minutes trying to find a secret area in each tutorial to find the music the way you could fly underneath that platform in the jetpack level made me think they wanted you to see the radio a lot of the tutorials have ways of climbing up onto the tall pillars, but i only ever found gas when i did edit: also i've made a little building to do all of my testing in and it looks really nice just letting you know | 2009-04-23 21:53:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
Instresting find with the relays hooked up to two different global lighting switches. I set the one on the left to blue thick fog, the right one to complete darkness. It activated the left first, fog, then faded to darkness. I'm gonna try changing the time scale of them see what happens EDIT: 10 secs on the left one, faded to fog, 20 secs on the right one, faded back to normal then into black?. I'm gonna try with the relays | 2009-04-23 21:54:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
I did this: http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/littlebiggallery/images/1728/medium/1_Een_foto_3.jpg First I got the 2 lightnings into eachother, but then one of the GLT's turned itself off because the other one was taking over | 2009-04-23 21:57:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
Yeah much the same as I had, it seems the newer activate switch turns off the old | 2009-04-23 21:57:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
anything else to try out? | 2009-04-23 21:58:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
Wait we can link switches now? Can you now link other switches or only a switch with the global lighting one? . | 2009-04-23 21:58:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |
Too busy right now, is it out in the US? | 2009-04-23 21:59:00 Author: Whalio Cappuccino Posts: 5250 |
well the global lighting tool isn't classed as a switch in-game | 2009-04-23 21:59:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
What about dissolving the material the GBL is on, or blowing it up, what happens then? @RangerZero, no you can't the setup I meant was the same as the one oldage posted a pic of. I think my wording was wrong, the GBL is'nt actually a switch | 2009-04-23 22:00:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
I'll try that out grantos. | 2009-04-23 22:01:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
Have you got ideas for that like Killian? The last time I was trying to get into create mode while retaining the tutorial background. I just ended up freezing my PS3 but there has to be a way to do it! | 2009-04-23 22:01:00 Author: Killian Posts: 2575 |
What about dissolving the material the GBL is on, or blowing it up, what happens then? @RangerZero, no you can't the setup I meant was the same as the one oldage posted a pic of. i tried putting a gbl on some dissolve, but it didn't do anything maybe it dissolved before the switch could react though.. gonna try again | 2009-04-23 22:01:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
Too busy right now, is it out in the US? I don't think it is, yet. | 2009-04-23 22:02:00 Author: Chin Fish Posts: 32 |
they just dissolved while it was on, now i'm stuck with this mid darkblue background which isn't even possible to recreate otherwise | 2009-04-23 22:03:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
wow i think if you destroy the switch during the transition it gets stuck like half way between the first and second colour | 2009-04-23 22:03:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
How did you manage that Killian lol? I blew it up, nothing happened EDIT: Yeah you're right, I'm stuck half way in between the two colours It was hard to see fading from light to dark | 2009-04-23 22:04:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
wow i think if you destroy the switch during the transition it gets stuck like half way between the first and second colour HOLYSH.... Infinite color background is created. Does color correction fades to with the speed setting or something? We could have multiple color correction styles that weren't availabel before!! . | 2009-04-23 22:05:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |
How did you manage that Killian lol? I blew it up, nothing happened attach a switch to the dissolve block, then run past the GLT so it starts going to the lightning you wanted slowly...pull the switch while it is changing colours | 2009-04-23 22:05:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
i guess now you can get a mixture of every type of colour correction, and mix colours to get a unique background | 2009-04-23 22:06:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
Yeah if you set the timer to a long period, you could basically stop it when you wanted, achieving the colour you wanted I would think. I'll give it a try | 2009-04-23 22:06:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
why don't we make this our challenge first to make a bright purple sky and post a picture wins a cookie! | 2009-04-23 22:07:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
Yeah that works it seems, I set the timer to 20 secs and the colour changed ever so slightly until I blew it up. | 2009-04-23 22:07:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
Argh, i can't waut for it to come out over here. Man, i still have to wait a while i guess... | 2009-04-23 22:08:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
Grantos, what about the bolded in my last post? (top of the page) . | 2009-04-23 22:08:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |
****, this is way better then the MGS4 pack :kz: @ ranger: yes. | 2009-04-23 22:08:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
Could you use a relay to stop the process at about the right time you wanted so you can allow the player to make the changes through the level I wonder? It would make a great trippy level | 2009-04-23 22:10:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
