Dawn of the dead and Shawn of said dead were awesome ^^. I also loved 28 days, but 28 weeks was a bit more of a let-down.2009-03-26 22:23:00

I've always liked Shaun of the Dead. They play video games in it

I consider the Resident Evil movies zombie films too and I really liked the first one. If you want real world zombies - check out The Serpent and the Rainbow. Not "eeew, gross Zombies" but more of a look at the culture of zombies in voodoo. I've always liked it.		2009-03-27 00:31:00

Many of the abovementioned movies are really awesome. Shaun of the Dead is Great, as is Snyder's 2004 Dawn remake.

I'd also like to recommend 'REC (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1038988/)', Which the disasterously crappy 'Quarantine' was remade after.

Yes! Shaun of The Dead is an awesome film. Never gets old. That new film "Lesbian Vampire Killers" looks funny aswell. Might try too much to be funny and not be funny though.

Thats the best thing about zombies though... There's a hundred mindless, lurching, brainfiends coming after you and each and every one of them is useless!!

Planet Terror is a hugely entertaining movie, but my favourite zombie movie is the very first one.... Night of the Living Dead. Best ending ever. Evil Dead 2's ending was also epic....		2009-04-04 15:46:00

sorry to revive a real old thread, but i've starting watching more and more zombie movies, some are amazingly brilliant others are hilariously stupid. Dance of the Dead is really funny because the zombies can drive and communicate and are affected by music., but watch the movie amazingly funny and a good time, just don't take it too seriously!2009-07-03 20:39:00

Zombies are only scary depending on the type of zombie. There are the slow, stupid, stumbling, and somewhat cute zombies from Night of the Living Dead, and then there are 28 days later zombies, fast zombies that are actually scary. I don't think the movie broke through in to so bad it was good territory, I think it was just plain bad. It also took ages for the story to go anywhere, I'd say a solid 70% of the film was zombie pole dancing. which is at least 50% too much pole dancing		2009-07-16 01:13:00

I've never been a fan of running zombies. If you think zombies that walk aren't scary then you must have been watching fairly crap zombie films. Of course, most of the old school zombies aren't all that scary by today's standards, but that's not so much because they can't run as because they're not wearing enough make up to look undead. It's just as easy to be eaten by some slow creepy zombie hiding just around the corner as it is to be chased down by a crazy spazz zombie.
It's a different kind of fear, running zombies are more of a shocker thing, all of a sudden you're SCARED OUT OF YOUR PANTS for five seconds. Whereas slow zombies are more of a constant feeling of unease, you know they're out there, you just have to hope you don't run into one. Or five thousand. If one gets you cornered, you're screwed no matter how slow it is.		2009-07-16 19:01:00

I can handle the zombie pole dancing...just look past the decaying flesh and it's fine not really though....but the whole launching things at each other at the end...that was not pleasant. But I still say Zombie Strippers Rocks!! So 		2009-07-17 00:16:00
