Hey all, i have a few questions: - How do you change the color of the gas? - Is it the best to make levels look better by adding a lot of stickers? And something not directly for LBP: - Can you have money on your PSN account without a creditcard, because i don't have one. Probably these are very questions

You make whatever you will turn into Gas (say dark matter) and you get the gas tool. BEFORE you click on it, press square to change the colour. Of course! Although, I'd be sure not to do it. Jaeyden and Morgana25 both use stickers/decorations well if you want a reference. No idea, although I presume there is a Pre-paid card.

Gas is awnsered I guess. Just adding stickers at will is not the awnser to get a pretty level. I advise having a clear view of what you want your level to look like and not only create for gameplay, but also for looks. Watch closely at the design in the MM levels to see how they made it pretty, watch the use of layers, try to identify materials and where they used stickers. Making a polished architecture while making sure it has a certain atmosphere mostly turns out nice. Stickers are one of the ways to decorate, but certainly not the only one.

I'll add something about gas, it does'nt matter what material you change to gas, once you do it will float regardless. Also use a material that you already have in your level, it won't push the thermo up.

The gas has already been explained. As for stickers, I think Wyth was pretty spot-on. There are some levels which don't even use interesting materials, and still look nice, with a sort of minimalist look. There are pre-paid cards, in case you were wondering. I think most game-orientated stores should sell them.

There are no pre-paid cards for PSN in Europe. SCEE apparently is planning to introduce something like it but being the lazy bunch that they are I wouldn't expect any news on this in this decade.

Hey all, - Can you have money on your PSN account without a creditcard, because i don't have one. I had the same problem since credit cards are not very common in Germany, either. But they are just like 25,- ? a year and if make some volume with it it gets cheaper.

Regarding stickers... There are a whole ton of decorations in the stickers section... Not just stickers. A lot of them have 3 demensions... Just don't go sticker crazy throwing tons of stuff in there just because. I would think of a style theme for your level... So they go... If you have trees in your level, plan out how they will look with adding leaves for example.

This is quite a blow to many EU member countries, but sadly Sony still chooses to ignore this issue and not allow many to pay for content in the store.

I just don't get it how Sony can be so stupid... It's not hard to implement prepaid-cards in Europe, and it would probably give them a major boost in finances... God i hate Europe right now.

Probably these are very questions You know what they say, "It's not about the stickers, but how you use them" Ok, so what if i just made that up its still true, i've seen awesome levels with no stickers at all, and some really bad levels that are full of stickers, remember that stickers/decorations can be used for something else than what they might seem to be for. Also i think making your level look better by using the right materials in the right places is the best way to make a good looking level.
