First off, cool forum, better than other;s i've been. Anyhow, i was kinda wondering, whenever you get something in the store, do you loose the equabalent in points or do they stay and accomulate?

You lose the points but you remain on the same level. Oh, and welcome to the forums!

Well, actually, you do drop in both level and points when you purchase an item. Currently there's no way to change that without completely rewriting our Experience system's code, and since that would definitely void any support from the original author, we have no plans to attempt that. Basically, if you want to buy something, you will drop in level, but generally the higher-priced items are worth it to most.

But apparently you retain your title ('sackperson' in Thegide's case)? That's good to know. Titles are based off of post count, not LBE. So the more posts you get, then you'll level up. Like from Lint to Fuzz Ball. Seeing as how buying stuff from the shop doesn't effect post count, that wouldn't change.

Ok, got another question related to this. How does XP work, because i only have 100-something posts, yet i have 270 points, do some posts count more than others or what?

Adding friends, receiving and giving rep amongst other things also get you exp. Rocksauron, The Gide can change his title from what he bought. That is what the comment was aimed at.
