hey... recently theres been the biggest problem for me with LBPC... BRING BACK THE SPAM CAN! there was no real reason to take it away and its the only place i go ... with that gone i go to... bye... if you want the spam can back then post here... but if you dont want it back... then you dont know what the spam can was... if you want to talk to me use iScribble my username is Zommy or add my msn... xXstupatonXx@hotmail.co.uk well this is my good bye unless there are many changes to the site...

The Spam Can USED to be a place where fans of LBP could just chat, but now most of those old guys left, and, well, it now was essentially a place where people who DON'T like LBP could, well... just talk about nothing. So, yeah, I would agree with CC's decision, despite me loving the Spam Can as well. It just was... you know, kinda pointless. I can kinda see why they are trying to cut off people who don't love LBP because... well, you know, this is a LBP site. So, yeah, in conclusion: If there was a chatbox here, which the Spam Can essentially was, I would prefer it to be dedicated to people who love LBP- the people this site was MADE for. Really, why should they really continue to work with people who add nothing to the ACTUAL side of the site, only just rotting away in their spam can? This was kinda the reason I left- I didn't contribute anything to the LBP side, so I figured it would be better off without me. so, really... Why SHOULD they bring back something like the spam Can? I mean, I miss the old days where we could spam and think up ideas for LBP before it was released, but yeah... In conclusion: I like eggs.

A thread similar to this was closed already but. Regardless of this being a LBP site it was still a fun chat room for people that did and didn't talk about LBP. It was just closed becasue no one wanted to moderate it. And being a very activie participant of the last spam cans I can say it didn't even need moderation. The worst thing thats happened is someone said they were going to be leaving the forums and they got in trouble (we are behaving ourselves there.) A more logical solution since no one seems to want to moderate. Would to be let a distinguished member be even a sole moderator of the spam can who trolls it anyway. This way its not a burden for anyone to moderate it and it still gets moderated. But usually things that make too much sense never happen

The point is, the SPAM CAN wasn't general at all, there would always need to be constant moderation, imagine being a mod and having to go through about 30 pages a day because that's usually how much it goes up. If I miss 5 pages I usually won't go back to find out what happens. The point is, the SPAM CAN is gone, if you don't like it, leave, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. There are plenty of other sites created just for the sole purpose of chatting away, sure you may not find great people like you find here. But the point is this is indeed a LBP website. It's like going to an amusement park, only to find all the rides are missing, but the food stands are still open, sure some people may still stay, since they like the food, but the majority will leave. What I mean is, if you came here for the sole purpose of the Spam Can, then this is not the place for you. This is a LittleBigPlanet Fan Website, and it's kind of sad to see all of you fighting so hard for something that you can easily find in 10 seconds. With the Spam Can out of the way, I spend less time on the computer anyways.

You were deff. over simplifying by saying you can find the same in 10 seconds. We both know you can't find the same in 10 seconds Whale. It's the community, the people that we log on and talk to every day. That can't be found in 10 seconds; surely the forums may be found in 10 seconds. But to find this community in 10 seconds; that won't happen. Sure you can find another but to build the relationship that everyone had with eachother and find the right forum to do that; that will take much longer. And the point I was making is there were alternatives to just completely removing it. But another point is, they arn't going to budge on this one. And Quozl hated the spamcan; don't ask me why he was the one moderating it. Maybe he likes giving out infractions IDK. But I was also making a point it's not like we're wild and crazy in there. We don't really even need moderating. Maybe just the fear that it is being moderated. I've never seen anything in there were I thought to myself OMG thats totally inapporpriate. Anyways, it's gone forever evidently and we have to cope one way or another. [Edit]: Not like the poll matters but if you vote 'no' that's just ridiculous. You don't have to go in it. Nor do you have to moderate it. So why would you vote agaisnt something that cleary a large group of people like. It's just the principle

If I could make the Spam Can come back, I would. But I can't. And I'm not really that mad it's gone. We've got a lot of other stuff to do here. Hell, even if you DIDN'T like LBP there is still stuff to do here. But I like LBP. Anyone who doesn't has no taste.

I honestly don't see why you guys are blaming this on QuozL, every thread needs moderating, it doesn't matter how much of an angel you are, QuozL is the only mod I EVER see on, which is probably the reason you only get warnings/infractions from him, since he's almost the only one ever on... He's actually a very good mod, I don't see why you guys are acting like he's the devil and hates you. I remember posting some pretty stupid stuff, he understood it and when he could've gave me a few infraction points, and silenced me, he didn't, he gave me a warning, which is pretty nice of him. But I was also making a point it's not like we're wild and crazy in there. We don't really even need moderating. Maybe just the fear that it is being moderated. If you were here see a few things that happened in the earlier spam can, you would of thought differently, which is the reason why Clank and Marino are banned today. A large group of people do like it, but I think it's a great decision to have it closed, it wasn't on the topic of LBP, and it caused lots'o'emoness/randomness.
