these coaster and rally fads are lame? I mean i love holding the grab button as much as anyone else, but after a while, i dunno, i get bored just sitting there and watching. The rally car/motocross levels aren't as boring as the coaster levels, I'll give them that. The cars/bikes are usually very detailed and pretty to look at, same goes for the environments, but the racing aspect in some of these levels is desultory. One certain car will always win. theres no skill to these levels, just hold the grab button. All these levels also use the same events too. A rival racer will appear in a layer next to you, race for a bit then fall into a pit. You'll jump over a stack of explosives. ect ect.. But seriously the coasters. I dunno why they get so much attention on the community planet, theres always at least one up there. these things arent fun to ride. Im just sitting there....holding the freaking grab button. The fad has died down a little bit, but I'd rather play a fun and challenging level rather than holding R1.

It depends on the kind of player you are I think. I prefer a level with something to do besides hold R1 but occasionally I just like some eye candy and if the level looks good I'll play.

I like this type of level when the vehicules are impressive of what's going on during the ride/race is impressive, interesting. Those level are also good but only at a certain dose. .

Race levels, such as many of the mario ones that seem to be appearing, do not recapture the original fun of the games. But some, just SOME do have really good graphics that make playing your friends that much better I do agree with the coaster levels a bit though. But if they are looking REALLY good and there's lots of them in the same level (such as in the Wiggler world levels) they're really good

If you're using a controller with a spurratic R1 button or you very little battery life left in the controller it adds an additional element of suspense to this kind of level. XD By the way, I checked out one of these (a new monster truck level from Samson107) last night and it was actually a lot of fun. You had a sponge on the left and right, and the entire direction of the race would suddenly change, so you had to quickly grab the sponge on the other side to keep your speed going optimally in order to get a high score - so he actually added some depth to the experience (also, he had a LOT of different things to look at and effects).

Some of them are fun to play. Most of them are just dull. At least it's better than "345 fr33 prizes 4 u!!!". They drive me to the point of insanity.

Most of these race levels use the same car model, they are well built I'd give them that, but where probably a prize anyway given the amount of times I've seen the same rally cars in these levels. Unfortunatly they seem to be VERY popular on cool levels. Yet good levels get pushed to the back. And what for? To see the same jump/rival rider/hill sections repeated to infinite? I actually don't mind playing them from time to time, its a uncomplicated way to spend 5 mins. Its the 300 prize levels that do me. I mean can you even own 300 prizes in your profile given the lack of space it has to start with?

I prefer challenging platforming levels too, but sometimes you just want to sit back, relax and watch a rally car race or a rollor coaster ride, at least for me anyway. Two types of levels that are constantly appearing now that are annoying me are the "100 prisez 4 u!!!1" levels and the massive amount of Mario Kart levels that are appearing right now.
