I'm new to this F4F thing, so I'll provide feedback for the first three reviewers and we'll see how it goes after that. Expect honest feedback though, and please give me the same! (I really do want to know if I stink). Level Name: TRIAL of SEASONS - WINTER PSN: Sickivionkey Location: Europe Icon: Blue Angry Face Decription: Stop the FOUR SEASONS from fighting before the land is covered in eternal winter!! This is my third level and my third try at a boss, and I hope I've finally reached that elusive five star rating!! I've thrown in a few unique platforming ideas and both a vehicle and mini-game that I haven't seen anyone try before. I'd say the main features are simply the visuals and the old-school boss fight with WINTER herself. Parts 2 and 3 rely on your feedback! This is a really good action level. The challenge is perfectly balanced, and I was not frustrated at any point. I especially liked the "gun" semi-boss, midway through. Your WINTER character is well constructed, with cool animations and all. How you did that is beyond me. If I have to criticise anything, I did not like the artistic look of WINTER that much. 5/5 stars and hearted. Check out my level "Save Die Reload!", user "CarlsenJeppe". A very impressive level. I really enjoyed it a lot. My brother came in when I was fighting the boss and wanted to see the rest of the level so I ran through it really quickly and found a problem. When I grabbed the key at the end of the level I flew really quickly and ended up breaking the key. I figured it would just respawn, but apparently it does not. So I was stuck at the end of the level. - But yeah, like I said really loved the level. A lot of really cool parts, like hte platform that moves up and down, the transition to winter, etc ... Got 5 stars and a heart from me. F4F not needed since I didn't give an in depth review anyway, and I am not looking for feedback on my only published level right now. It's rather old now and I am working on finishing my next level.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm trying to think of a good way to fix the key breaking and not being replaced. Unfortunately I'm right on the edge of a full thermometer so placing an emitter kills me, not to mention the logic to have it fire at the right time. But, I may be able to find something to delete that no one would miss. I'm curious what specifically you guys do/do not like about the visual style. Obviously I can't do a whole make over to the level at this point, but I could consider it in future levels. (If I make any... Getting past the 60 play glass ceiling on this level doesn't seem likely, which is a little depressing).

In general, I liked the looks of your level... It was just your WATER character. She looked abit out of place compared to the monkey theme going on, etc. She also has some weird proportions, a flower in the forehead, .... I'm no artist, and it is simply a matter of taste, so don't worry about it too much. Just played your level again today. It really is cool, and among the best user-created platforming levels I have played in LBP. Your level really deserves some more plays, and I'm sure it will get them. I just played your level and really liked it! I love your monkeys! Super cute and well made. I also found the mini game and that is funny - nice cameo from a MM character too. I think the platforming has some really unique mechanics and it's challenging but not impossible. The story is compelling and I think the aloof personality of your ice goddess is fabulous and well written. I was impressed that she is so odd looking in the level. I took it as a sign of her "otherworldly" nature - it's clear she doesn't belong among the cute little monkeys. I wouldn't change it because it furthers the story but that's just my opinion. On top of the level looking really beautiful, and the challenging game play I really have to applaud your boss battle. Great depictions of her hands and such expressive articulation is so hard to do in LBP and I admired your skill in making her magic look like, well, magic! Nice set up too for where to hit and how it ramped up. One of the most interesting bosses I've seen. Level earned 5 stars and a heart from me. Thanks for sharing it!

EPIC. Awesome level, every little detail is vibrant and not out of place. + The boss. Amazing + Transition to snow was probably cooler than MM's own transition in story mode + Monkeys! + Humor and a sense of fun - During the boss fight, I didn't realize that I had to attack the heart after the hand. Maybe you could make it more obvious? I died on the boss fight, is there anything after it? Great work, amazing level! F4F: Frost (in sig)

Nothing after the boss other than a bunch of monkeys and a scoreboard. I made the boss so that after you kill the hands, the camera zooms in on the heart. (It also opens up and makes a heartbeat sound, but I don't think you can hear it over the music unfortunately... maybe I can fix that). Did the camera not work for you?

I have yet to play this level, but i have seen the video. It looks amazing!!! The way that the boss's hands animate and move so realistically is one of the most amazing achievements i have seen from a LBP creator. Kudos to you dude, you are a true artist.

I played this level a while ago but I had no idea you posted it here! Thank god, now that means I have someone to rave to about how good it is! When I played this with my friend our mouths were both hanging open the whole time. We've played A LOT of levels but this was truly something special. It had some of the most gorgeous visuals (the opening scene in particular was incredible) and some ingenious and truly unique gameplay. And I can't believe people have said they didn't like the winter goddess! It was genius how she would reappear throughout the level, ending in a boss fight (which really felt memorable, rather than just "fire paintballs blindly at the face until dead"). Having to destroy her heart was a perfect touch. Anyway, I can't say enough good things about this level. Please make a sequel!

Looked through this thread and realised I hadn't posted. A great level, that isnt perfect, which helped be keep my sanity whilst playing it. The transition to snow was brilliant, and the boss was really nice. Wasn't "OMG EPIC!" but it was a nice fun boss with multiple attack patterns. 5* and a heart definately deserved.

Wow, this was really a cool level. I ha really fun playing it! You did a great work. The grapich of the level was very well curated,the story was simple but nice and the "winter" was awesome! And the mokeys were very funny! From the start, in the forest, i found a lot of cool things: the mokey with the Tv, the mini game (wack a mhole, genius!) and the lights effect from the trees. Then, when the winter used her magic powers and the forest freezed, it was fantastic! Then, the level starts the challenge: many platform zones, funny and custom, in a suggestive ambientation. I had very fun with the moving platform, when you go up and down to dodge the obstacles. The mini boss was wellmade, but maybe a little easy and repetitive (but it's ok, it's still a miniboss). When you arrive oput of the "ice castle", the mokey that says "why don't you used a taxi" was very funny xD Then, the final boss was great: not too easy, very wellmade in the grapich, and with 3 levels of dificult. So, i really enjoyed the level, it was awesome! The only suggestion i have: you can delete the plasma balls and place some ice spikes, cause the plasma balls aren't very "in theme". 5/5 stars and hearted! Dante, I gave you an initial review. I'm going to play through again, so I might post something more detailed later. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to play through and to leave feedback! I think LPBCentral was the first to really give me props, so thank you! (But even after being here, on IGN, and on MM's picks, I still have fewer plays than a trophy level on cool levels! Amazing! ) I'm actively working on a sequel, and I'll make sure I post it here! For those who (rightfully) pointed out that my level isn't perfect, please give examples of things for me to improve or (better) levels that do something better than I do. I do listen, and even if I can't easily fix something for this level, I'll build it into the sequel.

Just played this for the first time. Wow! Normally at this point I`d point out all the small things wrong with the level, but I can hardly think of anything. Maybe that the secret minigame could do with a background of some sort to make it a bit less plain. And I`m never quite sure what part of the hands I should be shooting at. I just hide in the corner and shoot at the back of them, out of harm`s way. 5 stars and hearted. Well done.
