This is an interesting level I came across recently. It's a hidden puzzle level with two different ends, so far it seems nobody but the creator has solved the puzzle in order to get 10000 points (all I know is that it involves picking the glowing blue fruit from the stylised trees).

It deserves a mention in this forum if only for looking gorgeous and being well thought out.

This is a wonderful level. It's rather hard, and it's a shame that it only has a 3 star rating. It's really quite innovative!2009-03-21 13:38:00

Wow, that was indeed pretty cool. There's secret areas with trees to give a bonus at the end, from what I understand. Just takes a lot of exploring. 2009-03-21 15:12:00

Played it a few days ago, and I have to agree it's a real gem of a level.

A gem with a few blemishes though. There's noticeable slowdown in one or two places due to excessive use of light sources. The first of the opening cube obstacles is way too fiddly to play well. And while the player is encouraged to go hunting for trees carrying the blue light fruit, straying from the obvious path often only leads to an unforeseeable death in a cloud of gas, making the hunt a much more frustrating endeavour than necessary.

Anyway, it's a truly great level, and I'll be revisiting it for sure.

PS: I've actually seen a group of four or five people placed #1 with 1,000,000 points.

I agree, I think it's one heck of a level! I just love how creative and original it is, the music of the level also seems to be a perfect match to the level. I can't find any of the secret areas of the level though, I guess I just have to explore it. One of the only problems with it is that you get graphical slowdowns at the areas which use a lot of lights. Overall, it kind of reminds me of the level Simplexity.2009-03-26 20:34:00

Sorry, played it a few days before posting about it so I must've missed a few zeros when writing the previous post.

The first hidden area is below the first set of floaty blocks you encounter, the second is above the double-helix platform bit - that's all I've managed to find so far.

For those not familiar with Latin, "veritas" means "truth", IIRC.

I'll check this level out tomorrow; it sounds cool.

I've found all secret areas right now.. and i don't know how to get the 1.000.000... All i see in the end is a tree with all lights being lit.

Btw, the first secret area is not the one you described, there's one before that. If any of you want me to describe all secrets, please ask. And i will gladly do so.

Have you gone left to the hexagon area from the final room with the tree, Thommy?2009-03-28 19:24:00

It was way up in the sky.. i couldn't go there...

I saw a hole in the left wall, thinking that if i would find all secrets some sort of stairs will come up... but nothing happened when i did find all secrets...

Or am i supposed to use my ninja-movements to get there?

Hrrm, I'll really have to revisit this level. I remember it was a bit tricky getting up there to the entrance of the hexagon section, but it was not excruciatingly hard (or I just got lucky).

I'm surprised to hear you didn't find your way there, I hold your playing abilities in the highest esteem!

Seriously.. how do you get up there??? I found all the secrets, but i can't get into the hole in the wall. But.. you say it was tricky, but not hard... But there's nothing at all! There's just a hole in the wall that's about 5 times your own length up there.... I tried jumping into the "tree" and everything, but i can't seem to get there..2009-03-29 11:49:00

If I remembered how I did it I wouldn't hesitate to tell you! It's too long ago though, I hope memory will come back on seeing the room again.2009-03-29 12:31:00

I've seen a photo taken by one of the players, and there was a stairs to access the hole.

The weird thing was though, that he only activated one lightbulb... Does this have anything to do with it?

I think I had found two or perhaps three secrets when making it up there. I'm pretty sure it's independent of the number of secrets found, that's also what the scoreboard indicates - the hexagon gives you one score bubble for each secret found, explaining the frequent occurrence of scores of 20, 30, 40 and so on.

--- edit ---

Played it again, found all the secret blue light trees but ...

I couldn't remember how to get up there! Drat.

I played this level, but i wasn't looking for the secrets, and i didn't find them..

Which means.. they are very well hidden, but what do i want? They are called secrets for a reason

Played it again, and discovered that the author has in all likelihood removed the stairs leading up to the scoring area. You know how the sticker tool shows the outline of the object it's currently pointing at - if you point it at the floor segment that used to contain the stairs you see that it's just one big slab going from wall to wall, no more stairs.

Also, while replaying the level and once more collecting all the secrets, I must confess I found the gameplay extremely edgy and tedious. All in all, it's a huge disappointment.
