Cow Glitch: Dissolvable Wood?

Archive: 8 posts

I'm making a marble puzzle game. The object is to get the correctly colored marbles in their corresponding bins by choosing a path for the marbles. I want marbles in the wrong colored bins to dissolve, but they're made of wood. Can I use the cow glitch to give wood the ability to dissolve? I can't just use dissolve material because the weight change may mess with the ball's physics.2009-03-20 02:46:00

The cow glitch was patched up a while ago dude.

But maybe someone still has it, maybe in an old level or something. They can probably send it to you.

I know it was patched, but it's still possible to make Anti-Color like levels using the gas-capture method. Some people still call this the cow glitch.2009-03-20 03:14:00

There's a downloadable level named "Glitched Matierials Collection" (the sticker is a medusa looking thing) that i was able to save to my moon that has all the variations of dissolve, grab, and both kinds of float materials available. Just download it to your moon go into it in pause mode, object grab the material you want, then go to the level you want to use it in, then use the corner editor to modify the pre-saved glitched material to the shape you need. Sounds more complicated than it is. It's really handy stuff. It's how I got glass bubbles that float on my Chroma Stone 3 level.

Hope that helps.

Would it be possible to uninstall your game data and use in, then re-install?2009-03-20 06:21:00
