To me it sounded like Cornish Yarg is finished and it's just a matter of Sony says yes they can release it. I assume being fully tested and approved. This Podcast was March 12 so maybe it want be to long from now. Talk about the Cornish Yarg patch is at 26:00 minutes of the Podcast if anybody wants a quick reference. I recommend downloading it. | 2009-03-19 22:00:00 Author: BurlapSackBoy Posts: 310 |

ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG! Music in my pod! I couldn't care much about the global lighting tool (although I can see where it would be useful) | 2009-03-19 22:32:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |

i'll be able to listen to my own music? awesome. it's too bad that i never put my music back on my hard drive after my PS3 broke (would take hours, if not most of my day). and that lighting tool should be fun (ramp that goes through the day cycle?!). now if they would add a melee weapon, i would be a happy camper | 2009-03-20 00:37:00 Author: RickTheRipper Posts: 345 |
This news = AWESOME IN EVERY POSSIBLE DIMENSION. now if they would add a melee weapon, i would be a happy camper The patapon pack has a few melee weapons in it. | 2009-03-20 00:41:00 Author: Arkei Posts: 1432 |
cool, I wonder if the lighting tool will just have a slider for the lighting when you pass it, or what? also, I wonder what settings we can change with it, besides time of day | 2009-03-20 01:08:00 Author: cornontheCOD Posts: 150 |
The patapon pack has a few melee weapons in it. really? when does it come out? and are they actually weapons (like the paintinator) or are they just pieces of gear we can put on sackboy (like the sword/frying pan)? | 2009-03-20 01:52:00 Author: RickTheRipper Posts: 345 |
Awesome! Any word on an expected date for the update? | 2009-03-20 01:52:00 Author: mrsupercomputer Posts: 1335 |
really? when does it come out? and are they actually weapons (like the paintinator) or are they just pieces of gear we can put on sackboy (like the sword/frying pan)? I'm fairly certain it's just gear. Great news though, especially the music, didn't see that one coming. | 2009-03-20 03:19:00 Author: Walter-Kovacs Posts: 542 |
cool, I wonder if the lighting tool will just have a slider for the lighting when you pass it, or what? also, I wonder what settings we can change with it, besides time of day I hope it won't be cheap and will let us change the whole global lighting tab. This would means sun, darkness, fog color, fog distance, color correction. If it's only the sun tab i'm give Media Molecule a big "meh". . | 2009-03-20 04:22:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |
All great news, we just need the release now. I wonder how much Thermo the Global tool takes up though | 2009-03-20 10:39:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
Harddrive Music = Holy moley!! Didn't expect it... But fully appreciate it Chillin' out with your friends in the pod will be class. No more playin music over the mic. It's just you being able to listen to music on your HDD it will not be streamed to other players. | 2009-03-20 11:48:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |
Global tool and music in pod and create? I think this update just shot from "meh, I'll wait till it gets here" to "zomg, must have nao!". Awesome stuff... now let's hope it also FIXES stuff. | 2009-03-20 13:44:00 Author: Gilgamesh Posts: 2536 |

It's just you being able to listen to music on your HDD it will not be streamed to other players. Ye... I just noticed that after I posted... Still its great to see more games using this. Wipeouts by far the best with music though. | 2009-03-20 19:46:00 Author: Pitcard Posts: 779 |

one question: why is it called cornish yarg? | 2009-03-21 21:49:00 Author: Gondito Posts: 1082 |
one question: why is it called cornish yarg? Media Molecule names all major patches (Cornish Yarg, Edem, Ricotta) after cheeses. ... I don't think anyone has any idea as to why O_O. | 2009-03-21 21:51:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |
whoa!! i probably have to wait for that before publishing my current project... since i could really use that tool in it! | 2009-03-21 23:07:00 Author: graygoose Posts: 371 |
Yeah I can finally delete my mega huge spot lights in my Kid Rocket's Revenge level... I literally HAVE to fake day light... sucks up so much thermo my way too. | 2009-03-21 23:20:00 Author: LuckyShot Posts: 713 |
I hope it won't be cheap and will let us change the whole global lighting tab. This would means sun, darkness, fog color, fog distance, color correction. . In the podcast they said that you can edit all what you can do in the global control in the tools menu, so I guess that means fog, colour correction and everything. | 2009-03-21 23:47:00 Author: olit123 Posts: 1341 |

Great stuff, hopefully Yarg will bring online create as well Tho can't they give at least an estimate fo when they're releasing it? Come on, i've been wanting CY ever since they accidentally showed it in that pic of upcoming updates calendar. | 2009-03-22 21:21:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
Speaking of thermo... i wonder if it will take up a lot for the global lighting tool. | 2009-03-26 13:42:00 Author: TJapan Posts: 225 |
Speaking of thermo... i wonder if it will take up a lot for the global lighting tool. I'd imagine it would be very little as its only a little bit of code needed. Your not loading in new objects, just changing the settings. | 2009-03-26 13:47:00 Author: wexfordian Posts: 1904 |
