A new function for speech mouth.

The new function allows all action/movement in game to pause while the text is being read. Then resumes when circle button is pressed. I've had a couple of occasions whilst creating when this would be handy.2009-03-18 11:07:00

Cut-scene camera option kinda do this already. The game doesn't pause but your control over sackboy does.

Pausing the game actually doesn't do anything. Jump forward and pause mid-air. You still fall down. If you mean to completely stop everything, then I agree that it is a good idea.

They closed the text box early, probably.

Just to clear things up everything stops. The whole game pauses sackboy stops any moving objects stop. Pretty much like pressing pause until the circle button is pressed. If there is more than one sack person then the person who triggered the mouth would have control when the game resumes.2009-03-19 08:58:00

I would really like an option that denies the player from cancelling the text, or at least an option that lets you choose how long the text should be visible.

There are many cases when I want to show something happening on-screen while a text is shown but if the player presses circle immediately when the text pops up, they are missing a lot of vital and visual information.

Yes I know, this coin has 2 sides and this could also be an annoying feature in many cases.
