Rolling Thunder Survival Challenge

Archive: 4 posts

Hey there, just came to show you my first survival challenge, Rolling Thunder Survival Challenge.
This is a fast paced survival challenge, the point is to avoid the electrified obsticles sent towards you. But remember, you can only avoid them by moving through the 3 layers as jumping results in instant death...
The challenge has 3 levels of difficulty, which increase over time.
So if you feel you got what it takes to get the high score, give it a try and test your dodging skills.

To find it just search for "Thunder Survival". Has the Dragon's eye as icon.

I tried your level out man. I really liked it. It's a concept I've seen before but you managed to make it unique because the visuals really popped.

I played it about 6 times before I got a real high score. It's pretty addicting!

(BTW, people will reply more if you have pics or a video up)

As promised, I played your level last night.

It was a very nice level, as addictive as a good survival challenge should be.
Like Apellesjr wrote, this sort of level has been seen before but you added a cool twist to it.
The "no-jumping policy" is something I have not seen anywhere else and it certainly adds to the overall difficulty of the level.
It takes some getting used to, let me tell ya!! I had an internal fight with my platformer-instincts the first 5 playthroughs!!

Pros:

+ No jumping

+ The increasing difficulty

+ Addictive

Cons:

- Perhaps you could do something more with the visuals?

Conclusion: A very enjoyable survival challenge, I gave it 4 stars and hearted both level and creator.
