| Hi, I have noticed that your session cookie expires an aweful lot. I find it quite frustrating to have been on the site and been idle for what I would consider 'not that long', only to find that I have to refresh the page and log in *again* to post a message, even if I haven't left the site. | Our session cookie expires in 20 minutes. As that is also used to judge whether a user is "active" or not, any longer would be more inaccurate than it would be helpful. To avoid forcing our users to log in every time they leave for more than 20 minutes, we offer the option to "remember" you: simply check the "Remember me" checkbox upon login, and you will not be automatically logged out once your session cookie expires. You seem to know a good deal about how sites operate, which makes me wonder why you aren't aware of "Remember me". If there's some reason you avoid using it, then you could also auto-fill login forms with a browser-based password manager.
