Cause if it does.. Hello PSP-3000!!

Maybe one of the experts here can answer this. I googled around for a while and couldn't find anything.

Thanks

This has been discussed and speculated already... Most people think it won't happen because the PSP just isn't powerful enough.2008-08-22 05:38:00

I don't understand the concept of remote play. Couldn't there be a way where the psp just acts as a controller and screen for the ps3, but all the processing is done on the ps3? Don't know how much use that would be.2008-08-22 07:02:00

It was my understanding that that's how it works. The PS3 streams the info to the PSP, it just acts as a screen and controller.

Aer0, remote play and a PSP game are different. You can remote play any game, so yes, LPB will have remote play.

EDIT: Oh wait, nevermind. You can't remote play any game. It's unknown whether LBP will have remote play, but because it lacks two sticks, my guess would be that if it did, it would be limited.

I am not sure if the psp used as a contoller would be that effective, it is missing some buttons and all the six axis sensors. In my opinion, I think that if they were to port LBP to the psp, it would be a game that you buy, a cartridge that you put in (or disk, whatever), that translates the code for you, and I think it would be an almost complete 'Play' game, virtually no 'Create'. Maybe a 'Share' in that you could download levels from the net and play them, but I dont think there would be any creating levels option. As for all the physics simulations they use in the game and everyone thinking the psp doesn't have enough power for it, it does. They can simulate alot of that. Part of the reason it takes so much on the PSIII and XBOX360 is because the physics engines are much more realistic, and the developers want it to look as real as possible. They wouldn't need to go that far with a ported version for the PSP. At least, thats how I see it. I helped build some of the home-brew when the PSP first came out, and one of the first things we noticed was that the PSP is an extremely well built little system.2008-08-22 19:52:00
