The sheer amount of customization available is incredible. The Popit system allows the user to do so much in such a simple interface....I love this game.2008-08-22 14:31:00

BTW, Im really really scared...
If you play LBP on a SD-TV, maybe you cant see the images So you dont know what youre building.

SD/ED shouldn't be an issue.

I doubt it. Of course, all games look and usually function better on an HD setup, but all games will also work just fine on SD.

I remember GTA 4 (1 hour ago XD)

LOL, so funny story about this trailer.

My wife is not a console player, it is like pulling teeth just to get her to play mariokart. I sat her down in front of this trailer and she fell out of her chair. Literally. She actually fell out of her chair. It has been decided, (she has decided) that when I deploy again, I will be buying her a PS3 and LBP, so that we can play when I am out there. Well. I had trouble with a GTA4 mission. Had to read a number off the caller ID or what not. Even with component, digital tuner, and full screen I couldn't read it. I wonder how LBP will look.		2008-08-22 21:49:00

Exact same situation with mine. She pretty much hates all things video games. I showed her a few videos about LBP and suddenly she want's to know when the release date is so we can sit down and play it.. 		2008-08-23 04:45:00

My ideas for what those functions could be, from left to right then starting on next row:

Turn head Around
Make Sackboy do expression
Increase/Decrease Sackboy size (last three could be for cutscenes)
Erase Function (i.e. not effect)
Make object floaty like a Paper Airplane
Make item fall
Lighting Effect
Fire Effect
Smoke Effect
Erase Effect (Beause effects and functions could coexist)
Pour some liquid
Make an effect string, i.e. making it so this switch opens that door
Cut/ Paste section of screen

Well, that's my ideas for functions. Anyway, nice to see someone take their time to do this. 		2008-08-25 18:29:00

Even buy a 720p set for cheap at a warehouse store (Costco or similar).

As an owner of a an HDTV for longer than my PS3, it is 100% worth it.

You can also pic up a 32 inch SDtv with a built in Digital tuner for crazy cheap and its still better than a standard SD.		2008-08-25 22:10:00
