Ever have that moment were you need to split your shape into half? Or needed a sphere turn into a crescent? Well that's what I want this tool. The line making tool would create a sort of 'crack' through creations, allowing you to easily split it in half, instead of using the corner editor to make a large crack that looks terrible and is hard to use. You could make several turns to make intricate designs, like circles, and lightning bolt shaped lines. There would also be a tool that is used for stickers, allowing you to cut of a chunk of a sticker, allowing you to make more awesome stickers. This tool would help us all in some way, big or small. It would be great to have one, enabling for make easier creating. But this is just an idea, probably will never be made, but one can hope!

Exactly. Using the round shape and make it the smallest possible basically = the line tool. .

As they've said just choose the square in any material, make it as small as possible and cut through whatever you want. As for custom shapes, if you know how to use the corner editor you can make some really good and complicated shapes, which you can also take a picture of to make custom stickers as well, so i srry but i disagree i your idea, since its something that its not needed(i think)

How do I make a straight line using the Brush or Pencil tool in Illustrator? I'm trying to make a border for my business card, but I'll be ****ed if I can draw a straight line. I've wasted a lot of time searching for the answer online and Adobe's help center is no use in this case. I'm new to Illustrator - the Pen tool makes me want to give up on life! Any answers? Thanks
