Media Molecule’s been saying that Dreams’ beta will launch “this year” since, like, 2015 – but it seems certain we’ll all be creating before the end of 2018. Speaking as part of a rapid fire question session with Game Informermagazine, co-founder Alex Evans said that the beta’s due at some point this year, so we suppose you should expect it soon. Even better, all of the creations published in the beta will carry across to the final release, so there’s plenty of encouragement to dig in and make something amazing for launch day. Page doesn't exist. I am also incredibly skeptical of a beta being released in two months. Could happen, I just don't see it happening as that would most likely mean august release date which seems weird. Love the idea of different ratings like +1's but for certain aspects of each dream.

The only thing I see happening is creations carrying over. I always found it weird that the LBP ones didn't especially since LBP3 hardly seemed to change between the beta and release. Creations carrying over kind of seems like a REALLY smart move even if not all of them work. People are going to get scared off if they don't have assets immediately (which will happen whether they carry over or not, but it would help to carry over).

November would be my guess. They're going to want to give people breathing room for RDR2 which is going to suck activity up for quite some time.
