I guess people are really kind of moving away from the LBP series, most of the threads I see are from a long time. I hope someday the LBP franchise can return to its roots... I tried getting 10 of my friends on this site who play LBP3 but they have not joined. I guess they must of forgotten But yeah this place feels like a ghost town now, wish I could of came earlier but I didn't get a PS3 and PS4 til late April of 2017

Hi Ariel, you might be right, there are lots of players outside but only few seem to be interested in forum activities. Nevertheless I think that the forums are fine places where new players could meet more experienced players and find help to create their own "dreams". Keep in mind that the LBP franchise will be 10 years old soon. People come and go. There was a time when this forum had lots of active members, but that time is over. Many of the LBP vets left the series. They moved on in their lives. Some of us are still here and LBP still has many active members. Hey there were a few contests just weeks ago. LBP is not dead. And with Dreams the Play create Share franchise will live on.

Yeah. I mean, LBP has been around for quite a while now. It's suprising to think that in about 7 months, LBP3 will be 4 years old. That's pretty scary, haha! I think right now, the LBP community is waiting for Dreams. And I think that's really good, because many of the old LBP fans have moved on to the PS4. Look at this trailer for Dreams! Yeah, full 3D, many of the features of LBP like the music sequencer. What I really love (And I mean REALLY LOVE) is the feature, that you can import your own sound files. Just imagine the freedom here. If you wanted you could import many lines of dialogues that are recorded with better microphones like a studio mic and with effects on them. I hope they don't mess it up by putting a a tight limit there or by compressing the file too hard. The freedom here is unimagineable.

Yeah, the possibilities with Dreams are endless. And on top of it all, it's being made by my favorite company, Media Molecule, who created the legendary games LBP1 and LBP2!! Most of all, I would just love is Dreams came out on PC, specifically for Steam. So much of the modding community is on Steam and it would be amazing to see what they could do with the tools given to them from Dreams.

It's not really that it's inactive for a forum. It's more that no one makes new threads. New threads get a pretty large amount of replies for how old this forum is.

It IS inactive, forums as a whole are just dying now that people have other means to discuss things, be it discord, twitter, etc..., that come with mobile integration that many people have moved into.

Remember that LBP is almost 10 years old. That means that a lot of people have moved on or are using different platforms like Twitter how you said. But I'm happy that a few of us are still here playing the same game and enjoying it. THE LAST OF US

I am back after 3 weeks! I was looking in my google documents and saw that I wrote an essay about LBPCentral so I decided to come back and see what's up. I must say that I'm relived to see that there is still people who post here. I felt a bit lonely when I first came here but now I don't as much. I certainly can't wait for dreams either it's going to be really fun and I just know it.
