Missing sensors
Archive: 9 posts
I don't know if this is the right sub for this but I have recently bought LBP3 within the last 2 months. I was making my level and when it came time for making the logic pieces I notice that I am missing my player sensor and the grab sensor. I have looked through all of my items and can't find them anywhere. Am I missing something? Will update as I find important tools missing. | 2018-03-05 18:38:00 Author: Kender42 ![]() Posts: 38 |
Was that one of those that you had to complete a training thingy first? | 2018-03-05 22:36:00 Author: jwwphotos ![]() Posts: 11383 |
There are several scenarios that can cause this. One is that you could've accidentally pressed the hide tab option above the category of sensors. Just undo that and you will see them again. If that isn't the case then it's probably because advanced create-mode is not activated, just head over to the start menu and scroll down a bit until you find it. Those are the things that I can think of, if you still have problems finding the sensors leave an update or message a tech support helper. | 2018-03-06 09:17:00 Author: blacksackman ![]() Posts: 234 |

If that isn't the case then it's probably because advanced create-mode is not activated, just head over to the start menu and scroll down a bit until you find it. I have looked in all menus for this and have not found it. I should probably add that I'm still on a ps3. I don't have any menus collapsed. The sensors disappeared after importing my lbp 1&2 profiles - - - - - - - - - - Was that one of those that you had to complete a training thingy first? Yes, I completed all trainings from lbp 1 to lbp3 | 2018-03-07 01:42:00 Author: Kender42 ![]() Posts: 38 |
Did you look at right place, because the player sensor is not where the other sensors are, its on page 3 or 4... | 2018-03-07 05:32:00 Author: Hanfi1311 ![]() Posts: 776 |
Oh yes, Hanfi1311 is right, the player sensor is on a seperate place, not among the other sensors, when I first searched it I've been totally confused! | 2018-03-07 07:38:00 Author: CuriousSack ![]() Posts: 3981 |
I heard of these glitches where objects from the tools bag disappear. I think you can only solve this by resetting the profile. I think it is interesting that they disappeared after the LBP1 and 2 import. | 2018-03-07 11:30:00 Author: mdkd99 ![]() Posts: 1172 |
Finally found it under creatures. I didn't think your character was a creature. I find it interesting that a sensor would not be under the sensor category. I think a lack of foresight happened either that or someone doesn't know how to organize. Just saying. Thank you all for the help, it is much appreciated ![]() | 2018-03-07 17:36:00 Author: Kender42 ![]() Posts: 38 |
Glad you found it! We'd be interested to see what you create too! ![]() | 2018-03-07 22:20:00 Author: jwwphotos ![]() Posts: 11383 |
