But fear not, jww and friends, for this time it is not a rival LittleBigPlanet website I bring you news of, but something totally different! In the interests of forcing myself to try to be creative and not just abandon every new project I work on, and also for the sake of my own sanity, I have tasked myself with creating some kind of comic every single day of 2018. I use the word ?comic? very lightly because a lot of them are quite basic and boring but the point is I?m actively making something every day, and that feels pretty great. Up until now I've just been posting everything on Twitter (http://twitter.com/cogmonkey) and Tumblr (http://cogmonkey.tumblr.com) but now that I've managed to get through the first month I've posted them all on my new website cogmonkey.com (http://cogmonkey.com) as well. I actually started working on that website probably like a year ago but I didn?t think there was enough stuff on there to make it worth opening it yet. With this comic project spitting out content every single day I finally had a reason to open the site so go and have a look, if you?re interested. There?s more information on there about all this and other stuff I've been working on and I even made a FAQ page (http://cogmonkey.com/faq) so if you?re one of those people who?s only seen me around LBPC and has been wondering where I disappeared to you can maybe find some answers on there. If you want to. Here?s a great and relatable example of a comic I posted recently since I probably shouldn?t make a thread in the art forum without including any actual art. https://cogmonkey.com/comics/027/027.jpg January has mostly been about working out style and techniques and finding my feet and all that so hopefully now that I've been doing this for a whole month the comics might start to get more interesting from now on. Hello! I'm still not dead! And somehow I'm still making comics. They've evolved a bit since I posted this thread and there's now some kind of flimsy plot running through them, something about hats and crabs, I don't really know. But anyway, I'm posting here now because I just reached 100 comics and I thought that would be a good opportunity to say, "hey guys I finally started a project that hasn't just immediately ended within a week". And I've completely rebuilt my website homepage now so it's much less terrible and you can see the latest comic straight from there. Wow, you've been rather busy! Some of your comics are a little bit...disturbing,...but nevertheless funny! Maybe I should wear a hat...not to get roasted like Chirpy the Chick! Thanks for sharing and many greetings, Jürgen^^
