I was wondering if you are able to transfer items that you gain in lbpvita to the console games such as lbp2, in the same way that you can get items from lbp1 to lbp2 and so on, thanks for your time and help.

Sadly you cannot. I would suggest content manager, but you would have to be some sort of wizard to extract the files from Playstation vita to LittleBigPlanet 2, and even then, the changes will only be visible to you, as you're going to have to replace some files. The only reason people have some of the costumes from 'Run, Sackboy, Run!' is because those costumes were still in the game files somewhere.
