I was hoping to finish up the story mode in LittleBigPlanet 3 but when I got to the part that requires the use of the hook hat, I can't equip it. When I open my sack pocket it's completely empty. I even went back to the Go Loco level where it's first introduced and I don't have a hook hat on that level either. I can pick the hook hat if I create a level. I've had many issues with missing power-ups on community levels as well. Say someone has a gun power-up. It will show up as a cog icon but if I try the level over and over, eventually I've gotten it to show up one time until the next time when it's missing again. I have a PS4 pro and I've disabled boost mode and rebooted the console and have rebuilt my database. I'm stumped. According to videos I've watched of the final level, people have all the power-ups when they open their sack pocket but I have nothing. https://i.imgur.com/ru49pO7.jpg

I have the same problem on my PS4. No powerups and it says I have to play level 1 again because other levels are locked. Those glitches are weird and kind of game breaking for people who want to play the storymode.

I was afraid of that. Thanks for the reply. Even though it's not a fix it's nice to know I'm not the only one with the issue.

I always liked the story mode of the LBP series. If LBP3's story mode wasn't that glitchy, I would actally play it.
