Negativitron wants to challenge you AGAIN!

- Gameplay Details -


Journey back to The Cosmos to re-challenge Negativitron in an ultimate battle between Sackboy (or girl) and the Overlord Himeself!


- Players will fight Negativitron in a similar, but different way than LittleBigPlanet 2

- UNLIMITED LIVES

- In the First Stage Players will be given a pair of Boost Boots; in which to hit Negativitron's "Brain" on his head

- Once hit, Negativitron will rotate the map whilst attempting to hit the Player with his red laser beams; slowly getting harder with each advancement

- After 10 hits, Players will advance into the Second Stage in which, also like LittleBigPlanet 2, the Player will have to dodge Negativitron's lasers on the ground level.

- Players will be equipped with Boost Boots on the Second Stage as well.

- You must use the combination of your Boost Boots AND the Wall Kick's within the stage to hit Negativitron. But, watch out! You'll also have Meanies to dodge!

- After O'l Neggy's been hit, the cycle will continue, getting harder with each advancement.

- After about 5 hits, Negativitron will be defeated!!! (For now........... dun dun dun)

- When you do complete the Level, Players will be rewarded NEGATIVATRON and the MEANIE

- Creation Details -

This is the real deal. I created Negativitron from SCRATCH. It was extremely hard, but fun, to create him as closely as possible to MM studio's Negativitron. In fact, when I was making him in the beginnings, I had my laptop in my lap - while I was sitting in my chair looking at the TV screen with LBP up and ready. Looking back and forth, back and forth.
I studied his movements on Youtube and looked up numerous images to get him perfected. But, making him was only the beginning to this extremely large creation.

After he was made, I had decided on what the level was actually going to be about, because I didn't want it to be an exact copy of LBP 2's level.

Next, after I made the stage and all level details........................ Was the LOGIC......


And let me tell you..................... THE LOGIC

There were SO many complications to get the level working as wonderfully as it is, that it would take pages to describe!

I had to: Figure a way to rotate the entire map and get it back into default position, Make 10 cycles for Negativitron, Make his mouth, eyes, and swirl move, make HIM move, make him change to red, make the "brains" switch sides and register to the hit list, Cameras! Intros! Cut-scenes! etc etc etc.

And all the other details that would make you all fall asleep if I went through them.


But, I must say I FILLED my entire 60 inch TV with LOGIC from LBP....................... TWICE. (The poppit camera tool couldn't even capture the whole screen of logic)

(I had to make THREE different Negativitrons, using the same base body, but completely different logic: One for the intro, once for Stage One, and another for Stage Two)

I am really surprised that I managed to get the Thermometer a sliver below The maxed out mark at the very top. I'm glad it didn't lag and break on me LOL.

If anyone would like to see all the logic themselves in this level, I could possibly allow players to copy it to their respective moons in order them to gaze at the Colorful Wonder of Rainbows of wires and logic.



- Reason for Sharing -

I care little for author fame, or even hearts. I am just rather disappointed that players are unable to play/witness this tedious level with as many details it has.

Currently after months of being published, it was only played 5 times............................ just 5. It probably took 2 or more months to create; let alone test and fix bugs.

I am sharing this for the community to enjoy; I hope it will impress you guys..... and most of all, make you smile <3

I like your enthusiasm and the pics are looking fantasticly! I don't know whether you have showcased your level in any forum when you published it first! Maybe thats a reason why the community didn't take notice of it so far! I wish you luck and I have queued your level! I will try to play it in the evening!

Lol Thanks! ^^. Well I didn't showcase it anywhere else I suppose. I attempted to post it on LittleBigPlanet's Twitter (as they allow many players to post their levels for sharing), but they haven't retweeted it.

sorry, but I didn't find the time to play it yet, cause I had to play the LBNCMW contest entries first to do my ranking! But now I have done my rating and since I have a little break til Monday I'll have plenty of time to play your level! And I will give you my feedback ingame and also here!

Oh yes, I enjoyed it though I nearly can't imagine that someone can beat negativitron without losing some of his lives. Your negativitron is really impressive! Thanks a lot for sharing it with our community!
