thank you for the suggestion, and the linkk. question, i recently got a ps4 but play lbp3 on ps3. if i cross to ps4 gameplay, am i blocked from level editing at ps3? for sharing reasons id have to retreat on ps3, but want to record on ps4

To do that just publish your PS3 levels on your Earth as sub-levels then when you're on PS4 copy them from your Earth.

You can send levels back and forth between the consoles by just publishing it on your Earth then going to the other console and copying it from there. It won't restrict you from editing it on either one.

What Smuffy said works. It's not like in Minecraft console edition. It's great to improve the level for the ps3. So go for it.

lol found out that even though i own lbp3 for ps3 i have torebuy it for ps4 even if its on my purchased list. they did thid with the lbp2 bonus content edition. i have so much stuff locked fromm cross compatability. Oh, if anyone's interested, I have 3 mario and 3 katamari levels up. i also have a howl's moving castle replica and the totoro scene where you nap with him. theres more to explore though - - - - - - - - - - http://lbp.me/u/D-Angelo85
