I'm having problems with my Playstation 3 everytime i turn it on it beeps then it shows a yellow color and shuts off with the red symbol. I want to play LittleBigPlanet Games and my Bioshock games. I want to play with my friends but i can't. I miss LBP and watching people play it makes me want to play it. If you went through this and fixed the problem please comment on what i should do or you found a video on Youtube or anything please put a link that helps me. I want to jump back in the world of LBP. And finish my levels so I can say: Play, Create, and Share! That Will Royalty For me! Please Help.

Hi Juyytr55t56y, I'm sorry to hear that your PS3 has problems! My PS3 nearly "died" in Dezember 2014! I bought me a PS4 and nearly forgot my PS3! Last year I could afford me a new Harddrive for my PS3! Its been a last desperate trial and voila! Now my PS3 is running again! Only bad...I found a backup for my profile and data only from 2013, so I lost all my stuff from then on! Otherwise its been funny to revive it in the state of 2013 with all the stuff that I already had forgotten! No idea whether you too have a harddrive problem! If you get an error code maybe Sony can tell you what it means and what kind of problem your PS3 actually has! I wish you luck and I'll keep my fingers crossed for your PS3! I hope that soon you wll be able to enjoy playing LBP and Bioshock again! Many greetings, Jürgen^^

I'm sure you could just back-up your save files by putting it onto a USB stick before replacing the old hard drive, right?

Yep, but make sure to backub the right files! Then I did backup only the profile data and forgot to backup the whole data via the xbar menu under settings, where you also restore your data!
