Some people left LBP when LBP3:s glitches scared them. But it isn't near death at all, lots of people are still playing it.

Yes it's dead because nobody is playing my amazing new level. The honourable Donald Trump even called me to tell me how awesome it is, he said (and I quote) "Hi Ali, it's Donny here. Great level. The greatest. Deserves more plays. A SHAME that nobody is playing it. Sad!" In all seriousness, while it doesn't appear that the game itself is dead, the forums look to be going that way. I've checked on a couple of other forums too, and no where near as many levels get posted these days, which is a shame. Perhaps the game could do a better job of promoting the forums, especially given the potential influx of new players due to the PS+ "release".

Its only that I also have to do my tax declaration and several other things so that I only can play online in the evenening and the last days I fell asleep as soon as I had made myself comfortable! I'm not too bothered about the number of plays to be honest, though it would be nice to have more than 10. I think I have a nice mix of relaxing, up-beat and terrible music. Something for everyone. (I don't use twitter or facebook)

This is another thread about this topic. The third one I see. Whatever, I personally don't think that LBP is dead. We don't have millions of people playing it, but at least 100 000 are still playing LBP on the console. LBP Vita looks bad. Less activity. Only a few still play it. Like 100-200 people.

LBP definitely isn't dead. I just came back on it today after downloading the digital version. Very diminished, sure, but the game is still alive and breathing , and it's a great treat for new PS Plus owners to download on PS4.
