Phantom Obstacle

I'm having a frustrating time dealing with a really unusual bug, and I'm wondering if anyone else has ever encountered this before -

I have what I can only describe as a phantom obstacle, a small, invisible, unselectable, undeletable but definitely extant object, right in the middle of my level, that I just can't get rid of. It isn't falling from some other level object above, it isn't being emitted, it's not something I made invisible and forgot about, it's literally just this stupid like blackspot on my level, that I can't do anything about. If I move the level around, the phantom object follows me around.

I really have had enough of LBP and its buggy, unfinished garbage.

Have you tried viciously crushing it with a piece of metal or stone? In all seriousness, I have had this happen with sticker panel material that never shows up in play mode, but nonetheless it is annoying. Sounds more annoying with collison2017-01-02 23:36:00

The item appears to have no collision physics with selected items, and even if it did - it doesn't start on the ground in a location I can find. It's not until I unpause and some of my assets move into position, that suddenly my little meanies start running into it, this is when I notice that it exists.
The item can be pushed around, though.


EDIT-
I think I might have found the issue. I have a destroyer on an object with a Lever on it. I think the issue might be that the Rigid Connections tweak, doesn't work on the whole object - The lever handle has always been a strange anomaly in that it has a visual model, but a totally separate hitbox for logic and such.

Forwarded it to Steven, bit is now half year ago, and nothing was fixxed...

Seems there are objects like the toilet paper role in the video, that cause that bug, when you copy them out of a LBP2 level in a new LBP3 level...

and maybe it has something to do with renaming an object in your popit:

Wow, that's fascinating. I've never seen anything like that before.

The Lever has been a long time LBP object, I suppose it would stand to reason it would encounter similar problems.

Have much more bugs in my profile, made so many bug reports, meanwhile I gave up and I dont create any more, the bad thing, cant even complete some levels that are 95% finished, because every object I put in the level just breaks...

So they don't fix it and don't answer? Wow, they really don't care about it anymore.

I had a bug with the save tool. The game ended immidietly. A endscreen spawned out of the map. But there was nothing like that. I fixed the issue by copying the level.

Maybe that could help.

I don't think that it's that they don't care. I think it's more that its 10 years of code stacked up (6 of which they were not involved). They probably try to fix these things, but end up breaking 10 other things in the process.2017-01-04 19:53:00

And this is the problem. MM is busy with Dreams. Sumo can't fix the problems and here we are. Loosing many members because of bugs and less want to fight...2017-01-05 03:29:00
