Battle with Zombies 2 [TopDown]

Hello,
it's time to announce the second Battle with Zombies level in LBP3. It will come out in 2017.

The 2 is right. A few more guns, more perks, more game modes, more zombies of course!

29.11.16:
The display was made. Nothing new, but it is important and I had to make it (obviously).
31.11.16:
I made a short clip of what exists right now. I will post more on my twitter account and youtube account. I will put it here somehow.

I made a small effect. Footsteps. Everytime you walk in sand, you will make footsteps there.
8.12.16:
I am busy with this level and the LBP Vita version. I can improve both at the same time. I changed the shop design. It looks similiar to the menu here:

Have to say something:
Many things weren't done. The development went fast, but the shop content just needs more time, as it is really complex and contains much logic in it. It uses 30% of the thermometer, which is high for sth. like this. The content of the shop is also complex to make, because I have to use more than 100 marker tags. Even more than 150. And because of the platform change from PS3 to PS4 I had to recreate everything.

The closed BETA is coming still in 2016. But later. I will post sth. about it, when the BETA is finally done.

Closed BETA will be released soon. There is only the classic mode. Other ones get enabled when they are finished.

The BETA will be locked. Only friends can play it. Full version will be released somewhere in 2017.

BETA is out now. The chosen players will play the BETA and share feedback.

Another update:
I worked 11 hours today. Time for a break.

I could fix some old problems, finish logic parts of the player and zombie. Many logic peaces need to be finished next time. The map looks great, but many details have to be emitted in PS4 graphics mode. I seriously like what I did.

I am almost done. I made so much progress the last 4 days that I wouldn't wonder if the level was coming out this sunday.

After publishing the level I will work on another game mode. Here's a picture of it:

The gun selection menu.

The skills aren't done yet, but one works. Really cool! It's much logic. 219 pieces are on the shop controlinator.

I'll work until 1 pm. Than I'll have a break until 6 pm or so.

Some quick feedback,

So I played it for like 5mins and had some issues right outta the gate.

1: Enemies come outta the gate before you really understand how the controls work. (Add a start button or something within the field that starts the wave of enemies. Will give player time to practice using the controls.)
2: Didn't even know there was a Menu I could go into. You need to add something on the main UI that says: Menu: Triangle.
3: Need to show what button is shoot and what button is grenade on the UI.
4: A Auto Cooldown reload would be a good idea to display cus I was trying to reload. If there is a reload button you need to display it.
5: Please remove the direct gameover to score board. Its really annoying to have to reenter the same Intro settings. Reload the map or just have extra lives.
6: Also display what button is run in the UI.

Extra:
Zombies could look better.

You could emite a sticker panel with a blood texture on the floor if you get bitten by a zombie.

EP: is Experience points? You could change it to EXP. I would understand it better.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'll add a controls list to the menu and I'll add a simple 5 seconds timer to when the game starts.

Many games use that shortcut. I'm surprised that you, who works on a RPG like level, doesn't know that. Whatever, I want to keep thing comapct and small.

Please spend some more time on the level, to use all features. I spent much time on this level and I was working really hard. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Hey guys!

I have some news for Battle with Zombies 2!
Version 1.1 is already out.

I am happy to announce

Update 1.2

Here is the list of the changes:
- The zombies will be slowlier and will need less bullets before they die (wave 1-2 + classic mode)
- I will increase the range, the time before the cooldown and the time for the sentry gun to exist
- The zombies will have to get closer to hit you
- I will fix some small bugs

Great news, right? If you didn't understand it, I can describe it with one sentence:
The game will get easier!

Great news!

Update 1.2 is published.

- The zombies are slowlier and less resistent
- Changed prices in the shop
- Improved values for some skills
- The sentry gun lasts 5 seconds longer, has a improved range and fires 3 seconds before the cooldown
- The LRF-9 is on offer until Update 1.3 (50% off!)

The game is really easy now compared to Version 1.0. I added one spawner to prevent the player from doing spawntrapping and beating the game's mechanism with that.

Bad news for PS3 players: The PS3 can't handle so much activ emitters and more than 10 zombies at the same time. I can't fully improve the game for PS3.

Getting the same kinda issues on PS4 but with just like 1 active emitter at a time on my game.
Does anyone know if PS4 Pro runs LBP3 levels better?

PS4 Pro has more power. If you enable the boost mode, it could give the framerate and the performance in general a little boost. In theory. I actually don't know it to 100%.2017-04-09 05:00:00

Just want to know if it can handle more logic/Emitters at once. I'm setting up a PS4 PRO mode on my level that will just toggle to emitters that will emite more sprite animation frames.
