Bugged DLC? Help?

This problem has been bugging me quite some time.

I want to purchase the entire Frozen DLC pack for LBP2 to get the bonus Olaf outfit, as I need it for a future outfit project

However, the entire pack doesnt exist, the outfits are only being sold seperatly, and aren't even listed in certain areas.

Here's what I know:

The Frozen DLC was the VERY LAST DLC pack released for LBP2, and it was also released for LBP3

There are two packs, one for LBP3 which contains 7 costumes, four for Sackboy (Anna, Elsa, Kristoff & Olaf), two for Toggle (Troll & Frosty), and one for Oddsock (Sven). The second pack is for LBP2, and contains 5 outfits (Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven & Olaf) which are all for Sackboy

Olaf, (exclusive costume) ONLY given when the entire pack is purchased, can be worn in LBP2 & LBP3.

PSN Store Lists 6 of the costumes located in the LBP3 section, Olaf is missing, due to him being the giveaway character when the pack is purchased.

PSN Store does NOT list the combo pack either in the LBP2 or LPB3 sections

PSN Store also does not list ANY of the Frozen costumes in the LBP2 section

The Ingame store for LBP2 DOES list the costumes, but has the combo pack purchase completely missing, and only Elsa, Anna & Kristoff listed as the separate purchases. Sven is NOT listed

The LBP3 pack does NOT transfer over to LBP2, despite most of the outfits literally being the same thing

All I want is to have the Olaf outfit for LBP2! but I cant have it unless I purchase the whole pack, which I cant since the Sven costume is missing. Someone please help me out here, and explain to me what do I need to do to obtain that outfit for LBP2.

no other discussions exist about this problem except a very old one back in 2014. & no solution was given there either.

Hmmm... yeah this seems like a big problem. Have you tried calling Sony?

Have you gone to your downloads or purchase history or whatever to see if it is on that list? If it is, try downloading to your system then restarting that system (yes it seems the restart is needed for LBP DLC)

I havent even downloaded the pack yet! that's the whole thing im complaining about! the entire pack seemingly doesn't exist anymore on the PSN Or Ingame store! just the separate outfits. can someone actually read my problem and give a valid response?

I couldn't find the pack on the PSN store, I still see the pack on the in-game store... however I already own the pack for a long time now so I can't correctly check your problem as DLC shows up differently when it's already owned.

Do you own the LBP2 or LBP3 version?

I got the LBP3 version on PS3, but it works for LBP2 obviously too. I own all the costumes the pack should come with, including the costume for Toggle. The LBP2 version of the reindeer is a sackperson outfit and is a Oddsock costume for LBP3.

There are three outfits. The Sven one isn't even listed

The Top-most selection, the one that normally if you click it, it puts the entire DLC pack into your shopping cart, cannot be selected.

Im wondering if I just buy the three outfits like that, if it would even give me the bonus Olaf outfit. its technically not the full pack, as the full pack isn't selectable

Ok this is really ticking me off.

So heres my where my scrounging for clues has lead me to believe:

I believe Sony/PlayStation has removed Sven from the store. Too many people complained about being confused about the difference between the LBP3 Oddsock outfit, and the LBP2 Sackboy outfit OR a glitch occurred, and he was removed for an entirely different reason

Secondly, due to Sven being removed, the entire Frozen DLC for LBP2 had to be overhauled, resulting in the removal of the mini-pack, and even the single outfit purchases from the PSN store. For whatever reason you can still purchase Anna, Elsa & Kristoff in the LBP ingame store, but not anywhere else.

ALL of this resulting in Olaf now being COMPLETELY unpurchaseable, due to the mini-pack not existing, meaning he cannot be earned as an exclusive bonus outfit.

atleast that's my theory. please, PLEASE someone prove me differently. I really want to buy this Olaf outfit

Even if Sony removed the listing from the store, they don't remove the actual item. From a web browser you should be able to see the item in your purchase history with a download to PS3/4 (as separate items). If it's not there (the whole pack should be) your only hope is to contact support. I know that DLC is frustrating with this game (it is because of PS4 and PS3 I believe), but that's the only solution I've ever heard of working.

for the LAST time, I have NOT purchased the DLC, what im complaining about is the the complete lack of the DLC's full package on any of the stores, both PSN, online, or in-game. it used to exist, now it does not.

I've read everything said here. You are just wrong about how you think it works. If you buy the LBP3 version... You will own the LBP2 version automatically. The PS2 version of the frozen pack does come with Sven and it does not matter that it is not listed in the info... but it's a sackperson costume on the LBP2 version.

the store clearly says if the DLC is compatible with both LBP3 and LBP2. it says it isn't. its LBP3 only.

if it was LBP2, it would say 'LBP2, LBP3, LBP Karting'

Weird, I remember seeing a LBP2 version as well at one point, with what looked like a Sackboy version of the Sven costume. Can't find it now though.

I remember being peeved 'cause the Sackboy version of Sven (with the weird dumpy antlers and missing collar fur) wasn't showing up in LBP3.

(I also never got my Run Sackboy Run t-shirt

Can you stop trying to write it off as if the pack just simply doesn't exist. ive shown you its in the LBP2 ingame store & you can purchase SOME of the outfits

this isn't a Marvel pack situation. The DLC has NOT been removed from the store. If you missed it before, ill post the picture yet again

That's my LBP2 store, in game, on a PS3. not on PSN Store. Not on LBP3.

First off. I like how you keep blaming others for not reading your posts correctly while ignoring what some have been telling you. Your attitude is quite rude to people trying to help you I say. I already gave you the answer, If you buy the LBP3 Frozen pack it'll automatically give you the LBP2 version of the pack for you to download... It does NOT matter it is not listed in the info. So don't reply to me I'm wrong when you already stated you know nothing about it.

I just think, that the preview picture of the pack isn't updated and the pack doesn't exist with Sven as Sackboy anymore in LBP2. If it does, good for you. But that's just what I think. StevenI said, that the pack shouldn't be available like this. That's why I think that the preview picture is old and the pack doesn't exist anymore. Not with Sven in it.

But I think if you purchase the LBP2 or LBP3 version you will see what you get. And why do you care about this so extremely?

For the sake of the debate and so nobody is confused on this subject again... I opened up the PS3 PSN store today and re-downloaded it...

Fun Fact: If you try to bring the Sackperson Sven version into LBP3 saved on a Sackbot... Once you try to bring it out of your popit it'll give you some sort of error you cannot use it message... For some reason they don't want you to use both versions on LBP3. :V

Seems to be some kind of error.

Long story, short...

Sven was going to be a Sackboy but was later changed to OddSock when the decision was made to release the content for LittleBigPlanet 3 instead of LittleBigPlanet 2. (It's not uncommon for us to change and update costumes prior to release, if we feel that we can improve them.)

If you have purchased this content for LittleBigPlanet 3 and received the costumes for LittleBigPlanet 2; then I would just consider it a happy accident that you really don't want us to fix since it was never supposed to be available for that game.

Is anybody that has not purchased the Frozen DLC able to see the content available for purchase for LittleBigPlanet 2 on their regional PS Store or LittleBigPlanet 2 in-game store?

The Sackboy Sven was never supposed to be made available, which is probably why he was never implemented into LittleBigPlanet 3 to be able to support that costume.

I have got another issue. The season packs are not available for LBP3 PS4. It clearly says it is, but it isn't.

And also I bought the DC Comics premium pack for LBPV. I didn't get it for LBP2. I guess that's normal though

If I'm understanding correctly, the first thing is you've bought it for LBP1,2 or 3 for ps3 and it's no download option is available on ps4? Use a web browser to find the content and click download to ps4. All DLC have 2 items for the same content, so make sure you pick the ps4 one. The other is ps3/vita.

The DC comics premium pack is actually a different level pack for LBP2 and LBPV. I agree that it's confusing. It has the same content, but different levels if I remember correctly (I could be wrong though so don't quote me. I'd look into it more, but I think that's the case)

I tried in the PS Store on the computer. There was PS3/Vita and all system. I clicked on 'all systems'.

That's really confusing. It's like 7€ for each console. You only get costumes for the other platform.

If you buy one, the other gets unlocked as well. I agree it's confusing, but i think that was their solution to the dlc problem they had for about a year.

I have seen that you have to buy the DC Comics pack for each platform, so it makes 14-16€.

I guess I have to ask Steven because of the season packs.

Oh, sorry. I misinterpreted what you were saying. The DC level kit only unlocks the costumes on the other system because the levels are different. I was responding to the way DLC is generally put on the store with the ps3/vita and ps4 versions.
