How do I make the zombie disappear when the sword goes away?

Archive: 3 posts

Ya so the sword I made is called the Sword of Wisdom. You can summon a zombie helper by pressing triangle. However when I'm no longer holding the sword, the zombie is still there and active. I want the zombie to disappear when I'm no longer holding the sword.

You would probably suggest connecting the circle button on the controlinator to the destroy all input on the emitter that emits the zombie. But I don't want the zombie to be destroyed by pressing circle because the circle only opens the sack pocket and doesn't cancel the sword unless you select the sword in your sack pocket by pressing x on it. This is why pressing circle will not cut it.

Is there another way I could destroy the zombie when I'm not longer holding the sword? If you have a solution, please explain in simple steps. Thanks and you can see a video of the issue in the link below.

I'm assuming the sword is a custom power up which I'm not too familiar with, but if you put a tag on it (label it sword or whatever) then you could have the zombie have a tag sensor set to infinite range and detect that tag so when the tag is gone, the zombie is destroyed.2016-06-06 19:47:00

If you don't want to get the zombie helper destroyed, then you could use koltonaugusts solution above and put a transparency tweaker on the zonbie helper (settings to 0%) instead of a destroyer! Which would make your helper invisible but still there! Wire the transparency tweaker with a NOT-gate before so that if the tag sensor is activated it activates the NOT-gate, so that the transparency tweaker is deactivated (effect: the helper is visible) and if the tag sensor is not activated, the NOT-gate is deactivated, and so the transparency tweaker is activated (which means: the helper is invisible). Savvy?

Many greetings, Jürgen^^
