Problems With LBP2 Levels

So this has annoyed me so much that i basically stopped playing LBP for half a year entirely.
Almost all of my LBP2 levels are buggy or even unplayable in LBP3, for various reasons. I managed to fix most of them, but there is just one bug that i can't fix no matter what i try, and i tried alot.

In that level, the player is followed by a hologram, which in turn emits a Sackbot partner whenever that partner isn't found in a certain range. The Sackbot itself has yet another invisible hologram following him, just thought maybe that's important to point out.

So in LBP2, the Sackbot is emitted a little over the player's head, on the SAME layer as the player (since the hologram follows the player.) But in LBP3, for some reason, the Sackbot is always emitted one layer BEHIND the player (Which makes him fall out of the level, glitch out, makes the level impossible to complete and all sorts of fun things), and i can't find out why. (Partly because i can't load my own LBP2 levels on the PS4 because i ""don't own"" the Marvel Kit.)

Does anyone know what could be the cause of this? Or maybe someone even had the same problem?

Are trying to republish your LBP2 levels in LBP3, or are trying to make your levels that are published in LBP2 playable in LBP3?

If you're publishing in LBP3, the best thing to do is capture all the parts of your level and rebuild it using a new LBP3 empty level. Editing an LBP2 level in LBP3 is known to cause problems.

If you want to make your levels that are published in LBP2 playable in LBP3, that may simply not be possible.
I have added (LBP2 ONLY) to the beginning of all my LBP2 level titles because they've all got some sort of problem when played in LBP3. Really we need an option to make those levels only viewable in LBP2, just like we had that option for LBP1 levels when LBP2 was released.

Yes, the latter would be the case. I am honestly a little disappointed with the way LBP2 levels are being treated in LBP3. Already when they announced LBP3 would have 16 layers, it was obvious to me that it would cause problems with the old levels, but appearently that wasn't obvious enough?
I just expected that they'd at least put a little effort in not breaking the old community levels, but well..

Funny, I actually thought to myself "if i really can't fix them, i can always make them unavailable in LBP3, right?" ..Wrong ._.

You know, one solution to this problem would be to make 2 systems in LBP3. New School - 16 layers , and Old School - 3 layers. This way, all lbp2 and 1 levels would follow the Old School system unless they were edited to do otherwise.2016-05-15 14:24:00
