The Rapids

Raft down river as fast as possible for the best time bonus. Score extra points by steering through the coloured gates.

Gates are Green (1000 points), Orange (2000 points) and Red (5000 points).

Green gates are in easy positions, Orange more challenging and the Red have narrow gaps to get through plus are sometimes hidden!

There are also 5 PRIZE gates (blue) to find.

The raft is entirely controlled using the LEFT STICK (Forward/Back/Left/Right) to make this an easy level to get on terms with.

You'll also be told at the end of the level how to find all the hidden 'high value' routes and all the prize gate locations should you be getting frustrated!

Sorry to correct your English Jurgen, but it's a RAFT (several pieces of wood bolted together) so you'll be RAFTING.

Played it and I really enjoyed it. So many diff?rents ways, l like that.
The control of the raft is very realistic, nicely done
I would say that the red gates give too much point compared to the time bonus. I would have appreciate more decoration too all along the river but maybe that's a matter of thermo ?

Yeah, more scenery would've been nice but you guessed correctly, no thermo left. It's all used up with the effects and sounds.

I appreciate your comment about the Red gates but I thought the player deserved a decent amount of points if they chose to find/navigate their way through a far more difficult route which is definitely slower.

There is an optimum route, as you probably realised, which may not be the quickest but will be much higher scoring overall.

Have a few more goes. If you're stuck finding the high score routes, remember to use the 'reveal' button.

I had thought about a sequel but maybe with a Hovercraft or Jetski?
