Global Water Tweaker

Ok let me try to explain what I want to do. I want to walk into the radius of the global water tweaker to trigger water. But I want the water to go away on it's own after about 5 seconds. I tried putting the global water tweaker on a dissolve material. Then I put a player sensor. Then I put a 5 second timer. I connected the player sensor to the timer then connected the timer to the dissolve material. I walked into the player sensor and triggered the 5 second timer that eventually destroyed the dissolve material which also destroyed the global water treaker. However the water is still there and didn't go away along with the global water tweaker. So ya it didn't work what I did. Is there a way I could figure this out? Please give me an explanation in simple steps. Thanks 2016-03-26 20:18:00

May I suggest to put two global water tweakers on a sequencer. The player sensor activates the sequencer and the global water tweakers on it! Start with the first global water tweaker, which triggers the water to come and place the second water tweaker 5 seconds after the first one! You can manage the time distance by putting the properties of the sequencer to f.e. one second pro unit and placing the second global water tweaker five units after the first one. Don't forget to put off the loop function! Probably you can activate a play once only function.

Using a Selector to activate the Sequencer is a good way to make sure it only plays once

I would prefer a timer with selector approach instead of sequencer because of the one frame delay, but in this case it wouldn't really matter. I just really hate the sequencer.2016-03-27 08:09:00
