Game Update Notes 1.19

Summary


LittleBigPlanet 3 Game Update 1.19 is scheduled to roll out on March 22nd at 12:05AM GMT.

This update includes a number of fixes for community reported issues including allowing access to the items that players lost access to after the previous update.

Important Patch Download Information for PlayStation 4 Users



Due to the way that PlayStation 4 updates software in the background, some players are encountering issues with game progression by attempting to access content that is not ready to be used.



To avoid encountering issues, we recommend that you check your Download Status before starting LittleBigPlanet 3.



This can be achieved by highlighting LittleBigPlanet 3 on the PlayStation 4 Home Screen, pressing Options on your controller and selecting Information.

The following screen will inform you of your current download status.



If the Download Status displays that the Download Progress and Download Size are the same (E.g. 1.2GB/1.2GB), your game is ready to launch with all of the features available to you upon arriving in your Pod.



Update Notes 1.19



General Stability


?Fixed a freezing issue that may occur after completing ?A Night on the Tiles?, if the player begun the game before the latest update installed and attempted to skip the ending cutscene before installation was complete.




General Fixes


?The Tails Nose costume piece, Sebastian Hair costume piece, LittleBigPlanet 2 Level Link, LocoRoco Yellow Hand costume piece and some other items that became inaccessible after our last update can now be accessed again and any costumes/levels containing these will now load correctly.
?The Cuddly Bear and Scorpion objects will now display correctly.
?When choosing a Sticker for your Level Badge, selecting a non-imported SHARE screenshot will no longer create an icon based on another random item from your Popit.
?The Versus Scoreboard graph will now display correctly at the end of a level.
?The Review rating icon that you awarded will be correctly highlighted in any Reviews that you rate.
?If the player has no back-up save data available when selecting the ?Import? option on their Moon, they will now be informed that no save data is available.


Popit Puzzles ? Corner Editing


?Fixed a crashing issue that may occur when spamming the Circle and Triangle buttons on the second block of the ball mechanism.





My Moon ? Adventure Maps


?The ?X of 15 Levels? counter will now remain onscreen at all times instead of drifting out of view when the cursor is moved to the edge of the Adventure Map.



Create Mode


?Fixed Speed Sensor discrepancies between PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
?Tag Sensors set with a thin radius will no longer activate when the corresponding Tag is not within the radius.
?Animated Decorations will now animate correctly when placed on a Level Entrance.
?When changing the Layer Range for the State Sensor and Pocket Item Sensor, the camera will now change and remain in the correct position to display the Layer Range to you.
?The regular In/Out Mover will now show a projection of where the object will end up, much like the Advanced In/Out Mover already does.
?The Sticker Weather Material will now update automatically when a new Sticker is selected.
?Editing a Material with a Physics Tweaker attached to it, will no longer cause the ?Include Rigid Connections? toggle to become disabled when it was previously enabled.
?The Camera Excluder Material will now function as intended whilst the player is in a Controlinator.
?When backing out of the ?Capture Character? screen of a Start Point, you will now correctly back up to just the previous Tweak Menu instead of exiting your Popit completely.
?The Wobble Bolt?s ?Pause? tweak will no longer be greyed out, even when it is still available to use and fully functional.
?The Fire, Electric and Plasma Hazards will now display correctly on the Chocolate Bar Material.
?Logic Chips connected to a Blaster Handle will now stay properly attached.
?Items can no longer be attached to a captured custom-made Sack Pocket items whilst it is equipped by the player.
?The Wave Generator will now correctly register as On when it's toggled to do so and is edited in Pause Mode.
?An audio anomaly will no longer occur if holding R2 when selecting a Sackbot with the Character Capture tool.
?OddSock, Toggle and Swoop can no longer be killed when a Material is drawn over them in Create Mode. This is now consistent with how Sackboy behaves when a Material is drawn over him.
?Fixed a consistency issue when the Tag Sensor?s radius on a Microchip would not be in sync with the Tag Sensor itself.
?Changing the Bendy Rails material to Sticker Weather Material will no longer prevent creators from being able to change the Material again.



Music Sequencer


?Creators will now be able to place the same note exactly 8 bars apart on a Music Sequencer.
?Using the cursor to select a wide area within the Music Sequencer will no longer cause notes within that selection to shift position.



Paint Tool


?Navigating between ?Choose Background? and ?Clear Background? has been fixed.
?The Paint Tool button prompts will now display correctly, even when Advanced Create Mode is toggled to Off.



DLC



DC Comics Premium Level Pack


?The Ice, Slush and Frost Materials will now display correctly.

Idk what it means. All I know is that this is the worst patch ever. It makes load times crazy long and the game lags. No connectivity problems solved either.2016-03-24 21:20:00

Basically you can't stick anything to a custom-made Power-up you pick up in a level and are holding in your hands.

Did anybody notice that if you press the rewind - button mow you get the loading screen before it finally rewinds! Thats no improvement! 2016-03-25 11:37:00

I tried buying SBSP level kit in LBP3 store, but the costume pack only showed up in downloading process. Not sure how did that happened, but I must have I added a few other costume packs to the cart after adding the level kit to the cart. That's what I think this could cause the bug. I tried going to PSN store to see if the SBSP level kit is purchased and downloadable, but my PS3 crashed each time I look up the new add ons. I reported this to LBP and Steven on Twitter, so hopefully they find this problem.

EDIT: I just went to PSN store and downloaded the level kit. Looks like the bug got me both the costume pack and the level kit for the prize of one .

I seem to have encountered a new bug in the in-game store. Apparently, whenever I try to click on content like "Brand New" or "Recommended" I get a bug that says there's nothing to currently buy. This is certainly odd lol.

Update: Nevermind, it's working fine now!
