So, I was looking through Danx87's Tutorial Videos (by the way, you should check them out, they're very good) and came across GlitchMaster7's video on the Unreleased Content Level by HFMiles. Point is, I know that the description says it's safe, and that he was apparently hired by Sumo themselves, but I wanted to know how safe the content is. See, I'm working on a project and the Emerald gear would be perfect for my purposes, but I don't want to corrupt my profile (which has aced every level ever except Cross Controller and almost 100% prizes on every game) for a couple of costumes and some other stuff I might not use. Many thanks to you if you can help!

The prizes are completely safe and can't cause corruptions, crashing, etc. I've used the stuff plenty of times with no negative effect.

Well, I have never noticed problems with the unreleased costumes, but the objects, and especially the logic and music, are pretty unsafe, and proven unsafe by testers at Sumo. That's why they had the modders and hackers quit giving the stuff away, but they never could really "go off the market". Most of the things are unfinished due to Sumo being rushed to complete the game before Christmas, for an exciting Christmas release, so, because of this, they are also unstable. I think it's fine wearing the emerald jester and witch costumes, but try to avoid the objects, most preferably, and almost positively the logic if you wish to stay safe.

I wouldn't end up using the unreleased content mainly cus it can crash your game/level. Sure its nice but wouldn't use it until they release a finished version of it that works. I wouldn't expect to see it until lbp4 but by that time everyone will be on dreams and MM will probably let some other developers work on the next lbp game. Want to see what lbp logic gets carried over to dreams though.
