My new Platformer

This is my new platformer that I released on the 8th and sadly I've gained 1 play in that time, it was a great one though because it was a member of a PS4 community I'm in, but I feel like I need more plays because it took a long time to make due to the all the different parts I had to make using basically on the small grid for details. Hi madstones97, its in my queue and I will try to play it as soon as possible! Its a pity that noone really noticed your level so far, you did right to post it in the showthread section!
Maybe you should take an ingame picture and post it here too! Thats at least how I would try to attract more attention for my level!

Alrighty, I played it and I really liked the gameplay! I especially liked the opacity platform switch as I hadn't seen that before. The visuals were what needed the most work. They weren't bad, but compared to the gameplay quality, they were lacking. Every area looks very similar and I felt after every layer jumping section I was starting the level over. In addition to this, the camera was really zoomed in making it harder to play. Transportation was also a little inconsistent towards the beginning. I personally prefer the hook hat transportation, as the teleporters didn't really match the rest of the level. Overall, fun level!2016-02-18 01:59:00

I agree with koltonaugust on most of his points.

The gameplay was fun enough (if the gameplay is on point, the visuals don't matter as much imo).
My three biggest suggestions:
1) Indicate where you can die more clearly, for example (in screenshot) just put a skull in crossbones (or dead sackboy (x_x)) sticker between the gap or something.

2) Score bubble point chains. I found your bubble placement a little weird, you had to jump the tiniest bit in order to get the group of three (perhaps lower them so the player doesn't have to jump or make them higher so the player has to jump, or both!), and in most sections there were only 6 bubbles in a section, making point bubble chains less likely.
More chain potential = more replays.

3) You introduce some good basic gameplay elements (wall jumps, ladders, grabby circles, hook hat rails, disappearing platforms, etc) now all that is missing is the combine them later in the level.
For example, A hook hat rail that requires the player to wait for a platform to appear to then jump off into a wall jump then back onto a higher rail, etc

Also sackboy here is pushing up against an invisible wall, but you can fall in from the other side.

Overall I commend you on your gameplay, keep it up.
