I have plenty of experience with lbp and lbp2, but I recently got into lbp3. Problem is, when I try to play my levels I created in lbp2, all the text from every magic mouth is gone. I have them on sequencers with movie cameras. They work fine in lbp2, but not in lbp3. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I've noticed that magic mouths don't work the same way they did in lbp2. I've had mouths I've set to subtitles switch over to talk bubble, or not work as well. I'll have to check to see what actually works and doesn't since I haven't checked for a while ^_^; I just know I'll probably have to update all lbp2 levels to fix whatever the problem is :/ ...it's most likely got to do with the different options available with lbp3 magic mouths that don't "line up" with the lbp2 ones

wow, the lbp community is more dead than I expected. Oh well, not a big deal. lbp3 doesn't seem worth putting time into anyway

While that is strange it doesn't mean the community is dead :/ I for one haven't been able to test how to fix this yet cuz of school and other things so I haven't been able to play D:

Oh, I thought no one responded because this is a known issue that has not even tried to be fixed. Magic mouths are kind of screwy in LBP3, I use notes with custom borders instead. A lot more work, but a lot nicer looking too!

A lot more work, but a lot nicer looking too! See that's important to know! XD I'm assuming a fix would be reletively complex, and it only has to do with the second game which isn't their focus so they aren't bothering? Ah well, we had similar problems between lbp1 and 2 if I remember ^_^;
