Anyone know how to fix this. I've not played LBP3 for quite a while now, and upon firing up my PS3 and starting LBP3 no sound can be heard at all. All other games are fine. I've deleted my profile - didn't help; I've also deleted the entire game and re-downloaded all 11gb of the entire game but still no joy. Anyone got any ideas?

Just to check, have you disabled sound in your settings? I believe I did this once and forgot which confused me for a while :blush:

Did you check the options when you're in your pod, I think that I had a similar problem a long time ago and that there has been deactivated one of these options! Currently I can't start my PS4 so that I cannot describe exactly how you can get to this options! I will try to explain it later! There are also tweakers in your popit menue under audio settings (volume of music or sfx and so on), which you could also check! These are the only ideas that I have! Many greetings, Jürgen^^

Maybe the sound setting at the ps system itself? I had a problem like that on my ps3.

Thanks for the replies but, yup, I've checked all settings etc. It must be an issue with the game as I've never known any settings which will disable all sound on a single game. Usually, when you choose a game with the right stick without clicking on it, a wallpaper appears and music is played. When I do this on LBP3 there is silence, yet all other games are fine. Any other suggestions?

Hm this seems really odd as is definitely not a problem with a corrupt game if you redownloaded it. I would triple check the settings as I know there was 100% a setting about not playing music (which is kind of dumb because that's all it disabled, in game music sequencers) and one for sounds I think. One way to rule out that it's not settings is to start the game on a separate profile and see what happens. Otherwise I would send an email describing your situation to someone or the official playstation forum for LBP3 (i know that was the place to post bugs originally)

I've already tried with a new profile and problem still persists. I started the game yesterday and all was fine. Sound had returned. Tried again today and was greeted with silence once again. Not sure what's going on here. Think I'll contact the phone number in the back of the manual. Thank you fir your suggestions!
