Musicsequencerdex

Archive: 4 posts

Hi friends,

as a side effect of working on my musicsequencer tutorial, I've created a little tool, which I've called "Musicsequencerdex" (referring to the famous "Pokedex")
The "Musicsequencerdex" (MSD) shows you how much musicsequencer thermo each single instrument needs. For each instrument I've personally measured this value! (ok, I'm not young anymore and my eyes may be ot the best anymore, so probably the values are not absolutely precise, but nevertheless they could be helpful for planning a song and choosing the instruments! )

only thing: the MSD needs a lot of level thermo, nearly 50%! I will experiment a bit and try to find a way to reduce the level thermo costs a little bit! I think that this tool will be done on weekend and that I can present it in a little giveaway level soon!

Many greetings, Jürgen^^

Hi friends, the MSD is done now, there was no way to reduce the level thermo costs, but the MSD isn't meant to be used as part of a level but as a tool for a musiccreator, so this should be no problem.
There are two versions now! The first on as shown above, you enter a controllinator and scroll through the different instruments to see the thermo value...

The second version is an icon chart with all the instruments and you get the thermo value by pointing with the popit-cursor on the instrument...

in this version you can also sort the instruments in the categories: low - middle - high thermo costs, so that you can only see all the instruments of one of this categories...

...here both versions simultaneously...

When the tutorial will be done you can get both versions as a giveaway!

Have a fine weekend and many greetings, Jürgen^^

Can't wait to play your tutorial! Everything seems perfect! (Aside from Thermometer issues but oh well. ) I've been waiting for a Music Sequencer tutorial for a long time since it's the only medium I never touch.2015-12-19 17:35:00
