Mini-games help.

I am looking into creating a level where an object moves but loops.

I think I may need to put a piston and set it to flipper mode.


But if I wanted to make it gradually speed up, what would I use?

piston and tags?

Timer?

And how?
Can you please explain this to me in good detail?

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to accomplish, but if you need a piston to have variable speed you should set it to positional input. Then you can use any logic to drive it.

As far as logic for changing speed I think there are several ways to go. A timer can give you a steady increase to speed if you hook it to a mover or something that has a variable speed input. I need to know more about what you are trying to do if I am to be more help.

Thanks, i'll be more use full.... I'm trying to create a mini-game where an object moves while the player shoots projectiles from the object into a set of rings. The rings are in different position, so I just need the object to move and speed up. I would like it so it looks like it's going through tons of different hoops, while it's only going through the same hoops over and over again.





I'd like the song to get more intense the longer they play for. So I think I'll use pistons. Hope this helps.
