LBP3 VS LBP2 Performance

A couple of days ago, completely bummed out because of how SLOW everything is in LBP3, me and my friend decided to go back to LBP2 on PS3 and wow....

The difference is night and day!! The loading times when you select levels and go to levels is way faster, BUT it is specially when you return to ur pod after you finish the level that the loading feel almost non existent!


On Littlebigplanet 3 whenever we finish a level, as a host, i get a lenghty loading screen so i can return to my pod, and after that, i get another equally long loading screen because my friend is loading into my pod too. It gets to a point where our LBP3 session lasts only 30 mins because of how frustrating and dissapointing it is, that we simply turn off the console.


So yeah... the amount of time to do anything before you can find yourself enjoying LBP3 is absurd (it's not my internet speed, believe me) Not even the most demanding games such as The Last Of Us have this ridiculously bad performance. And yet it seems the focus now switched to making more and more DLC rather than fixing the crippling issues of this title.


There is a recent trend among several high profile LBP creators, making protest levels, movies, etc about how bad it LBP3 is, more than a year after its release... so i know it's not just me, not by a long shot.		2015-11-04 07:08:00

I agree! And in fact, lbp1 is the the best one of them all. It has by far the fastest loading times and much less lag than the other games. However, I feel like the lag comes from how complex the game is. It's pretty much a ps4 game running on ps3, so that definitely makes a difference.2015-11-05 01:30:00
