Cybernetic Force Volume 1: Team Hardware Rises Again!

The first adventure map of my LBP3 level series project is finally here. The map features 11 exciting levels to play through, plus a store level where players buy prizes with collectable bells that are hidden in the levels. There are two story-driven cutscene levels, six platforming levels (half of them includes a minigame), and three epic boss levels to explore throughout the map. It starts with Sector Alpha where players are being trained in nine different challenges (four in part 1, another four in part 2, and the boss challenge in Alpha Boss), and each challenge pits a player to overcome new obstacles and use such LBP3 tools as blink ball and boost boots. Then in Beta, players will be playing as Oddsock in part 1, and survive through the dojo with the pumpinator in part 2. And in Sector Inifinty, players explore the Utopia Lake as toggle, and explore Restore Palace with the blink ball in part 2. Also, there's three custom music created by me included in this level. Hope you check out my first adventure level series.

...and I will come after DreJ1212 to clean up the chaos he left!...

I just finished the adventure, so heres my damage report.

As someone who just published an adventure level myself, I have a huge respect to those that create them. It really is a challenge to make the levels varied enough to keep someones attention for a long time. There should also be a storyline of sorts to keep players wanting to know what happens next. Interesting characters with good dialogue are nice as well.

I think I can safely say that you nailed all of my points above. This is a very well polished level in just about everything. As people may know, I'm not really a fan of platformers usually. They all seem pretty similar to me, just with different scenery. However I had a lot of fun with this one. This is partially due to the level being long with varied gameplay. Usually a platformer either has a unique mechanic and it ends too fast, or it drags on for too long with no different changes in gameplay. You seemed to find a good balance in this. I really like how you used just about every powerup imaginable, and even had us change characters for a bit as well. My only gripe was that it was a bit too easy. I didn't die too much at all, but don't really take this as a negative point.

The scenery in every level was nice as well. All three sectors had their own appearance which was nice. As for storyline, I didn't watch the prologue, but I was very interested in what was going on. The characters were pretty interesting as well, and I did like the dialogue at some points. The cutscenes dragged on a bit too much for my tastes, but its not a big issue. Also someone watches Naruto. The references were really strong in Sector Beta.

In short, I really enjoyed myself here. One of the best adventures in Littlebigplanet right now, and I think this level is truly for everyone.

Great to see that this adventure is doing well, despite that I couldn't get a single player to beta test the levels before it's ready. Volume 2 will be coming in spring 2016, and I came up with the following levels taking place in Sector Gamma:
Gamma Intro: Swooping Towards Mech Turtle
Gamma Part 1: Mech Turtle
Gamma Part 2: Recycle Center
Gamma Boss: Junk Behemoth
And there will also be sectors Delta and Epsilon in a new adventure map.
