Custom weapon issue

Has anyone else had this problem?

I created several custom weapons for my latest level Star Chaser but they won't work. Put in standard weapons, pre built by LBP, and all works perfectly.

If anyone knows a fix/workaround for this I'd appreciate the help.

I'm not sure if I've had that problem specifically, but it's hard to tell. What kind of weapons are they? Are you using complex logic on it? There might be an error in the "wiring". Sometimes you have to be careful to the order you put certain things on the weapon for it to work right, and usually the weaponator last.2015-09-12 15:31:00

No there's no complex logic. Just layered weapon emitters, by that I mean the 1st weapon is a standard laser, the 2nd weapon is angled lasers but with the 1st weapon also attached. 3rd weapon is the 2nd weapon doubled.

I'm sure I've made more complex weapons previously with no issues but this time they just don't want to play ball.

The weapon is not given.

I'm currently trying a workaround using emitters on the spacecraft, we'll see what happens!

Have you tried, testing each weapon by itself?
How is it set up?
Is it a counter system to power up? (collect 1-2-3... weapon power up)
Or is it a selector activation? (item 1, gives weapon 1, 2>2, 3>3)

Is your emitter using weapon or object?

Have a test emitter:
load weapon 1 test works yes/no.
load weapon 2 test works yes/no.
load weapon 3 test works yes/no.

If all work, have a selector test.
selector (cycle input) output 3.
output 1, weapon 1
output 2, weapon 2
output 3, weapon 3
test works yes/no.

If all works, setup test for actual use.

Tested in each fashion. No joy.

I'm going to move this back to the main WIP thread now with my solution!
