| Hi there! Here is a new level i just published. Nothing amazing, just a simple little level for fun. Its a challenging combo run. | The concept is solid, but the execution is not. The level is difficult already without a constantly scrolling camera, and there is no checkpoint anywhere, so the slightest death means restarting the entire level from the very beginning. It doesn't even teleport you to a scoreboard, so you can't even record your score. The camera also moves a bit to fast. Keep in mind, players playing this for the very first time have NO idea what to expect. I would recommend taking out the whole constantly scrolling bit, adding in checkpoints, and maybe adding an optional sticker switch up front, and if you activate it, then scrolling mode begins, and the checkpoints disappear. : D | 2015-08-20 14:07:00 Author: Kato Posts: 732 |
| Thanks for the feedback. i updated it, now we are linked to the scoreboard if we die. it looks like the majority of people can't beat it ( even if i think it's kinda easy... the level is less than 1 minute of length ). For the other things, i can't really agree. The camera movement is at 3 of speed, and we run at 4. We can easily go faster than the camera. And for the checkpoints, like i said, the level is 1 minute length. I don't see how it can be useful, and the concept is a 1 life run.
