Solar Eclipse

Archive: 5 posts

Hello everyone! Solar Eclipse is my very first level and I've worked alot on it so far. In this level, your goal is to survive as long as possible under the waves of alien ships.

Features:
The ''Boost'' System.
A commonly used system in levels like mine. Simple hold a specific button while moving to move faster for a limited amount of time.

The Solar System System (2x System!!)
Since you are in space, i've made a small part of the solar system (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars) that actually spins around the sun. If you go stand at the edge of an atmosphere, you will start to spin around the planet. (Because thats kinda how gravity works, folks.)

The Red Border
Just a border you can't cross. Simple.

The main elements of a survival level. (HP, score...)
Do I really need to explain? Okay, fine. If your HP drops 0 you die. Everytime you kill a monster, you get points.

A feature I like is the Enemy Shooting Radius Feature.
It's a quite simple feature making use of LBP3's genius broadcast microchip.
''But deniz, y u use broadcast microchip if u can use a normal chip aswell?" Well that's because you can turn it on and off using L1. Get it? ETA: It simply shows the shooting radius of all enemies when turned on
