Not so long ago I was, through Stephen King, introduced to the world of short stories. As I would love to do something with writing in my spare time later, I thought this would be a good way to practice. I won't be writing in a specific genre, although I tend to write horror stories. I can't promise how many short stories I will write, but whenever one comes up in my mind, I will put it down here. If you want to, tell me what you think. constructive criticism is always welcome. Here's my first one: Monster in the closet there's a monster in the closet. I'm sure of it. Terry doesn't think so though. Doesn't believe it. Terry never uses the large walk in closet in his bedroom. Yet, every morning when he wakes up, and every evening when he goes to bed, the door of the closet is slightly open. He has made a habit of closing the door whenever he walks by, but it always opens up again, seemingly by itself. I'm convinced that there is a monster in the closet. Terry has no idea how the door keeps opening. His theory is that the lock is just broken. Or at least, that's what he mumbles to himself. I know why the closet keeps opening. It's me. It's just a shame he never takes time to actually check the closet from the inside. There's a monster in that closet. There's a monster in that closet, for sure.

These two really short ones popped up in my head lately: You may not notice it, but we are always standing by your side. Waiting until you finally make that one mistake. Then, we will take our chance. I see dead people. Lots of them. Always slowly stumbling past my house, moaning, their bodies decaying further every day.
