Rollercoaster Tycoon is teh b0mb. I think it may have been one of the things that inspired my lbp carnival idea. I loved making my own coasters.2008-08-22 01:25:00

Yeah their was nothing like hearing the Merry-go-round music crank up at the beginning of RCT1. I would play it for hours. I love RCT3 too, I've seen some pretty amazing parks and rides made with it. But, their was some kind of feeling you got playing RCT 1&2 that didn't get carried over into RCT3.		2008-08-22 03:55:00

1 was the best for me, mainly because I didn't play the other 2..

Isit just me, or did anybody else raise a couple of squares of land as high as they could go, and drop the unhappy people up there? I also dropped the unhappy people into the lakes aswell

Or, did anyone else make the rollercoaster that goes around a loop, then up, then slides all the way back again? Cause, I cut off the end of that rollercoatser so the cart went flying and they all died 		2008-08-22 11:30:00

Yes! I did all of those. Especially dropping them in a lake. That was my go-to move.		2008-08-22 13:19:00

I think it was called reverse incline. When I got bored, I would build one that went as high as possible, boosted to max speed, did an almost vertical drop as low as possible(dug out land for it) and gave it a short lip. I could launch people off the map entirely

Man, I had a few really cool parks made in RCT2 and worked forever on a RCT3 park but never got it finished. I can't find the screens for any of those for the life of me. The only RCT3 stuff I found was this video of some custom fireworks I made:

Seems like I have the save file for this park safe and sound as well. Maybe I'll get back to finishing up the level someday. There's just so many things to do and so little time...

I thought that was the only way to play the game by not finishing the tracks and launching the passengers off it as fast as possible.....still not as good as this tho....YouTube - Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 - Massacre		2008-08-23 22:22:00

Yup. Very good creation tool, and a lot of mod support.

And even though the 3rd game was super buggy, it still had it's opportunities for being photogenic.
